  • Faved. this is now part of my vast arsenal.

    YOU GUYS ARE NOT ALONE!

    1 LIFE

  • im a gay teenager and this video is making me think about suicide because you say u know what were going through but you FUCKING dont

  • @TheWingedFishy I'm sorry to hear that...and I hope you reach out to the right people/numbers for help.

  • thanks you for this video i wish everyone was so nice like you

  • if ur gay, u better apologise to God, and be how God made you, man or woman, or burn in hell

  • @myweed96 hey... FUCK OFF!

  • Wish more gay people would kill them themselves so us gay bashers have less work to do

  • @ochick1 you said in "pro-gay marriage activist invade a church":

"Im not form the country i live in and i am given racist abuse and beaten but befor i even came i changed my cultural ways to fit in so why cant gays"

poor little baby..you cannot fight your problems, cause you're a little shit without strenght, balls & brains.unhappy with it,you're trying to find the easy target to attack, cause you're weak, pathetic & a coward,so you found the weakest way to pour your frustration.you jackass bigot!

  • @7xter If you read closer you may have seen its a christian conversation. I said dont hate gays or wish them harm and so this was a attempt to anger puffs or troll, which worked so meh. I went to our lord god to help with my problems not anger. The greatness of Christianity did not lie in attempted negotiations for compromise with any similar philosophical opinions in the ancient world, but in its inexorable fanaticism in preaching and fighting for its own doctrine.

  • @ochick1 lol what a douchebag..."trying to anger puffs or trolls", playing with a serious issue like this one. you still need help...

  • @7xter late from me. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice

  • Please, please don't let others push you into feeling you are less than they are. If we are gay, foreign, crippled, ugly, deformed, etc... we are all the same in God's eyes. He loves us no matter what or who we are. There is someone out there to talk to you ablut this issue. There is a lot to live for in life. It is not necessary to kill yourself. The bad times do end. It does get better. Honestly. Bullies do get theirs in the end. I promise!

  • what lies. no 1 gives a fuck about me. just like the indian guy who said "OH KAY YOU COME HERE I FUHK U OH KAY?" HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Nando, this is a great video. IT SHOULD NOT be happening in 2011. I have a group for anyone in our community if they would like to join. It is called , legacy connect.

you do not have to leave your real name if you do not want to. Look at the site and join. It is free and no email is shared. Hang in there! Jeanne

  • I'm a straight man, and I'm in full support of gay rights. My best friend is gay, and in our community, it's very hard for him to be who he is. I stand by him no matter what, even though not all of his family accepts him. I hate seeing him suffer, and hate how some people sneer at him. I just pray for a day when all people will be accepted for who they are, regardless of orientation, genetics, etc. Thanks for posting this, Nando. I know it did a world of good.

  • No should have to end their life for ANY reason. SPECIALLY not for being gay. I can imagine that it must be hard to grow up with the kind of discrimination that exists towards gays but I feel like it's literally decreasing by the day. Gays are becoming more and more accepted as time goes along. Besides that be proud of yourself however you are. There's darkness and there's light. It's all part of the beautiful complexity of life. You only have one you. Live it to the fullest.

  • We only marry because God tells us to in the Holy Bible. It is in that same Bible that we are told to come together as man and wife. Marriage really only aplies to Jews and Christians as far as the Holy Bible is concerned. To everyone else it is just a legal documentation.

  • Wow, lies lies all lies. I have never spoken out against homosexuality because it's never affected me personally but now I have 2 teenagers and this is so misleading. If you don't believe in God I don't want you teaching my children about sexuality. Their Gods precious babies not yours. I don't hate anyone because I know Christ died for all but it is pure evil to glorify any sin. Sex outside of marriage is a sin. (comment)

  • Most teenagers committing suicide not because they are gay..

  • Bless You and All The Gay Baby`s ;)

  • One hidden reason why "school" in America is hell, and a kind of zoo, where bullying and MANY other evils proliferate, is because most schools are PUBLIC. This means GOVERNMENT. This means (believe it or not) COMMUNIST.

Private schools are far more socially controlled, and thus far less criminal. Also more personally respectful -- even of diverse individualists!

  • no im a guy and yes im straight i just hate people who hate gays thats all it aint right at all

  • Who ever hates Gays is Fucked up in the head cuz 4 of my Best Friends are Gay and like them for them i could care less if they are gay or straight i care about them no matter what

  • @jabberjawscjfw2 are you a girl?

  • Who ever hates Gays is Fucked up in the head cuz 4 of my Best Friends are Gay and like them for them i could care less if they are gay or straight i care about them no matter what

  • oohh no im going to get butt rape..im gonna kill my self

  • @melissag98 child, spread 'em--you so nasty! work that hate sister!

  • @melissag98 what!?

  • Not everyone is fortunate enough to be raised with accepting parents.

I was fortunate. I'm a lesbian, and my Mother not only knows...But she accepts me. And she accepts my friends. When they step beyond on threshold, and into our house...They know that they are more than welcome to be themselves here. They know that this is a house of love and acceptance.

To all of the gay babies out there, just know that if you need us, we'll be here. <3

  • @NekojinAmako I think that's the way parents should be--it's sad that not all of them are. Thanks for reaching out and sharing your message--I have an entire "It Gets Better" post it campaign on my website nandoism.com I'd really appreciate if you and your friends help out!

    Rock on!

to have taken their own lives after having been bullied for being gay! Disgusting!!!

    Blaine

  • @blainebill39 I'm so happy that wonderful people like yourself are out there and making a difference! Thank you so much for sharing and making this a beautiful place to live--for all of us!

  • @nando1635

Oh Nando, I thank you! Loving and affable big brothers/mentors like you, are

exactly what our "Gay Baby" brothers and sisters need!

I hope you're not bothered by all the postings that I placed? I just felt that it

would be germain to the subjects you have addressed!

    Blaine

  • @nando1635

  • @nando1635

Nando, I love your use of the expression "Gay Babies"! Your voice and demeanor,

instantly reveal that it is completely ingenuous, and utterly disarming!

You have a "charming" way my friend!

    May G-D Bless You !

    Blaine

  • @nando1635

I do so appreciate your uploading of this message of encouragrment! This whole issue

was so "under the radar" when I was a boy! I've been having a time posting responses to

some of the young folks who've been commenting on the"Prayers For Bobby" Lifetime

movie clips. I knew and loved Bobby Griffith, when I was a boy and am amazed at the

reaction that young people have been expressing!

  • @nando1635 Though his suicide did occure more

than 27yrs ago, as you may see from my posts below, this horrific phenomenon, is

still very much with us today!

    Thank you,

    Blaine

  • WOW! Powerful video, Nando. Thank you for this.

I loved the way this video is cut...

  • To anyone out there with suicidal thoughts: U may think that u are alone, it's ur life & dying is the best solution, etc, etc. ALL wrong. WRONG! If u take ur own life u are actually being selfish. U will leave such heartache behind. It will affect people u haven't even considered. Life is a cycle there are good times & bad times - keep on swimming! I promise u that u are needed in this world. We need u just the way u are. U add value just by being YOU! Be strong, have courage & LIVE! *huge hug*

  • This video is golden. You're really helping people with this video.

  • Great video and message!

  • Don't Ever Give UP!!!!

Its hard growing up period let alone being a little different, i was teased for being chubby and dark skinned it made going to school unbearable, but i had two choices, live my life according to their rules or mine..and i chose mine im 26 now and ive never been more happier in my skin and it was those moments as a insecure, scared teeanger that paved the way for the fearless, confident woman i am now.

  • And isn't it so powerful that we ALL have our struggles--and yet, when we push forward, look what finally happens: ACCEPTANCE.

Thank you for your comment and for showing us how similar we all REALLY are.

  • Nando! This is amazing. Superb...I'm off to spread it around the internets. Thanks for doing this and for being you.

  • This excites me, wanna know why? Because it's always heart-warming when straight people reach out to gay youth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not about drawing a line and labeling: Gay vs. Straight, but these little ones feel like it's "us" against "them" and I really want them to understand that it doesn't have to be.

You are incredible. Thank YOU for being YOU!

  • What a wonderful and supportive video! Hopefully there will be lots of teenagers who find this video when they most need to hear your message.

  • thank you Simone,

with your support--I know it will get out there and be seen. We heart Simone Grant!

  • Nando, from a Bisexual and from a teen who doesn't exactly have a sympathetic attitude, I need to say that because of your video, I'm on the virge of tears. You've made the single best support video to the LGBT Kommunity. I and several others are changing their decisions because of you, and for this, I thank you

  • thank you for sharing your thoughts with us all. i think you're so brave--it's not easy to change but if the seed's been planted--maybe, just maybe--the fruit will flourish.

    thank you for being you.

  • Hey Nando, so glad you post this video. I felt lost and alone when I was a teenager too. It does get better and I hope all the kiddies out there learn to value their life and appreciate who they are! YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE, DONT END IT, DEFEND IT AND MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL!! I love the turtle without a shell part! That shell will grow and make all of the gay babies strong and beautiful inside and out! when you feel lost and alone put on some gaga and dance around, life is beautiful!

  • joey, you are so amazing. you and I often don't see things the same way & I love that about us because I'm learning that 2 gay men don't always have to think alike. but one thing is for sure--you are very vocal and it seems you are NEVER scared to say what's on your mind and that inspires me joey.

thank you so much for your loving words of encouragement and wisdom. I mean that.

    rock on!

  • What a heartbreaking topic, but such a necessary one to be covered. You would think in these "modern" times, we wouldn't be having to do this, but unfortunately, it still exists.

I am straight, but have a lot of gay and lesbian friends. I know their stories, I can't imagine what they went through. But, there are people here for you babies. You don't have to look too hard and we will be there for you and support you along the way.

  • You have the biggest heart ever. And that's why I love you most, scarecrow!

I know you would swoop us all in and let us stay over at your place if we needed it!

Thank you for commenting sweetie. It means so much. And I know the gay babies out there will feel your genuine love for them.

  • it can be hard to come to terms with who you are but don't give up the fight.... you were put here to do something with your life and you will accomplish anything you set your mind to....

anyone in this situation - stay strong and be yourself... :)

  • thank you for commenting.

see--the world is here for you!

I love your ending--so much that I'll repeat it: "Stay strong and be yourself."

    You rock, thank you.

  • This is one of the best videos I think I have ever saw. It has such a great message that I think a lot of the gay youth need to hear about. I feel so lucky to be able to be born in a family and community that accepts pretty much anyone. Being gay isn't always an easy thing but, people need to know that it WILL get better!

  • Yay! A gay baby left us a comment! I've told you this before, "I'm so proud of you and you have my full support." I love what you do and you're so lucky; your mom loves you, your friends adore you, and what you're doing on your YouTube channel is amazing.

I hope the youths having problems with their peers, parents and life find your channel & subscribe--I hope they reach out to you.

    your fan,

    Nando

  • I grew up hating myself because of who I was and what I was taught about who I was. I went thru some ex-gay therapy, "support" groups, prayer, etc. but I always ended back at the same place, ME!! It's tough, it's hard, but as Nando said, find peers, older ppl and str8s who will listen and understand. There is so much more support and more options to find like-minded ppl with the internet, etc than there was when I was growing up. Take advantage of it.

  • And to think a wonderful, loving and awesome person like you went through something like this makes me understand that I wasn't alone--none of us were.

I hope the little ones out there see this and can understand the power of love.

thank you for your inspiring comment and commitment to helping our gay youth.

  • nando, it is so good you are doing this. it is so sad to hear of any gay teenager who commits suicide because of the consfusion and isolation they must feel inside. we live in a land of freedom and, as a libertarian, i deeply believe all people should be able to become the person they truly are (particularly those in the GLBT community). But many need someone to reach out and reassure them in a society that still does not all respect people.

  • rachy,

you are so awesome thank you for leaving this comment. I know I can be demanding--and I just want to thank you for leaving the gay youth a comment proving my point that straight people care.

    thank you sweetie!

  • Indeed little gay babies are not alone. I went through the same thing and yes, things got better. I have reached a point where I can say that I don't care what ignorant people have to say to me, and it took TIME to reach this point. I am very happy with me and wouldn't change a thing. I plan to do a coming out/inspirational video like this one soon because I receive a lot of mail from younger gay people asking for hope or help. Thanks.

    ~sP

  • I'm so glad to hear that. And please feel free to post as a video response. Let's stick together!
