  • Muddy Water's animation is the shit lol

  • Hmmm I think the opponent go unlucky with the overheat miss but I guess that's part of the game....

    Does Jirachi know T-bolt?

  • @rprusty86 - Very true Russ. However, I did have another two Pokemon! The battle could have gone either way, although I think it is safe to assume that I had the advantage ;-}

  • @atreecko I never said you didn't silly. Just that he/she got unlucky. Also you never answered my question :P

  • @PokeWorldDP Wait no... Storm Drain doesn't take Water Spout for its partner at all...

    ^you can see in this video at 4:19.

  • @PokeWorldDP - Thanks to you I now know the true affects towards partner Pokemon. I was told that both Lightning Rod and Storm Drain negate water and electrical attacks whilst the ability is in play from both You Tube users rprusty86 and ScottishVictini.

  • @atreecko Hey...I am only going by what I myself have experienced. I used Discharge with my Lanturn and the Seaking who had Lightning Rod took all the attack, it didn't even hit my opponent. Maybe it was some glitch or something I dunno...

  • Aerodactyl isn't getting a lot of love here! Glad mine doesn't have Stealth Rock or Taunt. =P

    None of my Pokemon have Stealth Rock. It just isn't that effective on PBR, and that probably explains why Skarmory and Forretress are still so rare.

    You had some nice prediction there with Rotom...scoping out Sucker Punches and whatnot. It seems like Flygon may have given you a bit more trouble. On the other hand, Gastrodon may be packing Ice Beam, we just didn't see it.

    Nice battle!

  • @dembonez19 - Flygon would have been troublesome for sure! I did pick Persian who is naturally faster than Flygon, but there is also the choice scarf aspect? We'll never know ;-P

  • I love Gastrodon's cry. Both creepy and cute at the same time.

    Also, the animation for Muddy Water is immensely cool.

  • Stealth Rock is useless in doubles. Not to mention i've seen that combo on Aerodactyl all the time..

    I have a Hone Claws Aerodactyl on my Black with a life orb equipped! It's frail, but I have a strategy to cover that!

    Nice match.

  • @MikuruLatios2 - Hone Claws on Aerodactyl? I feel embarraced I did not think of that =S

  • @atreecko No need to feel embarrassed. ^ ^ I made it a while back, but I no longer do B/W battles because the amount of competitive teams is a turn off, restrictions and disconnectors, also. Plus, battling on the DS doesn't appeal to me at all. That's why I removed my videos. I would go into more detail why I quit, but eh..

    When the next 3D battling game comes out, I will be getting back to battling. ^ ^

  • Well Taunt on an Aerodactyl isn't bad. I mean, having Stealth Rock is sort of pointless in doubles to be honest unless you are running a team which likes to stall.

  • @UnovaElite Kangaskhan gets the ability scrappy, which allows normal-type moves to hit ghosts :)

  • Ugh....ANOTHER Taunt and Stealth Rock Aerodactyl? I would LOVE to see someone pull off a different one because these Aerodactyls are getting old.

    Funny you mention Storm Drain's improvement when you pulled off Discharge on Manectric. It INSTANTLY reminded me of Lightningrod's improvements as well (although to Rhyperior and Marowak, it does nothing. lol). Manectric could've gotten a speceial attack boost off the bat from there!

    Great job! Gotta love Rotom and Gastrodon!

  • @ARodYankFan -Your absolutely right about Lightning Rod and definitely something I should have mentioned in the description too. Discharge's use will prove to be more difficult in the 5th gen, because there are more Pokemon with Lightning Rod than there are with Storm Drain. Glad you mentioned that ;-}

  • I hope the new pokemon colliseum be for the nintendo 3DS

  • @UnovaElite - Kangaskhan has a special ability known as Scrappy. Scrappy allows Kangaskhan to hit ghost types with normal or pretty much any kind of attack.

  • Great battle! Gastrodon sure is strong! I have been wanting to use it for a long time. Poor Rotom flinched twice. Glad that it made a comeback in the end. :)

  • Interesting battle as always Tyler, I'm gonna start doing some PBR Random-Wi-Fi battles on my channel soon as well! [:

  • Love the battles, keep it up. :P
