Features & Create-A-Player/Team - NHL 2k

NHL 2k's gameplay is real arcadey and unrealistically speedy, but the free agent and trade system is leaps and bounds over NHL 09. I still prefer NHL 09 over 2k simply because I care more about the gameplay on the ice rather than bells and whistles off the ice.

08 was better, 2k graphics and gameplay along with glitches is pathetic, i was once playing nhl 2k9 and the other team players stick went through the back of the net with the puck and then they got the goal. 2K fails in every way. Sure it's somewhat fun but i think i would rather not play a broken game.

I've never played 2k8 before. My friend has both of them for the 360 and when I went over to his house I asked if we could play 2k8. He said that I'd be really disappointed.  I have NHL 08 for the 360 and it's the best NHL game i've ever tried aside from NHL 09. 2k8 doesn't look any different from 2k6 or 2k7.

NHL 2K8 4 LIFE BABY... That game is the truth right there. It was my first hockey game so I rented both 08 and 2k8. Obviously I bought 2k8 because it seems more realistic with better features and a all around exciting hockey experience. 08 seems just like all the other ea sports games... ARCADE-ISH! Make the right choice and go with 2K8.
