hey is there any particular way of deciding where to put the hollow spots cause im gonna have a crack at building my own guitar and wanted put them in but don't know if there's any thing to consider when deciding on where the hollow spots should be or how big they should be and how deep and so on

To make a 1 piece es 335 would be outrageous sum of money like 30 grand because it would have to be routed out with a custom built gig made out of a special built router that would take me a year to build and exact ! Nevertheless it could be done and I am the guy who could do it ! I need half of the money up front so send me a cashier's check for 15 thou and I will build and develop this type of router and you will have the first 335 ever built by me ! 20 years from now it will be triple cost !

o ya and chust sow you know. no matter how much that beutifull instrument gows up in price. i would never ever in my life sell that thing. i am gowing to be bareed with that guitar. eddie van halen had his franken strat. steive ray vaughan had his number one. jimi hendrix had his star spangled woodstock angele. johnney rushmore has his one peice stratopaul. and some day i will have my one peice legendary rushmor es 335.....

You have inspired me now for sure ! I'm gonna do it but maby I could save you 17 grand if I glue just the top on ?! Another words the back and sides and neck are all 1 piece and the top gets glued on !? I will build 1 now based on our conversation , after all the concept is there now and routing out the innerds on a 335 will have to happen thru the F holes with my custom jig that I must create if we do it completely out of 1 piece of maple !

thank you. that means alot to me. this is gowing to be a blues guitar sow i was thinking instead of maple wey can do mahogeny. plus ironicly anoph the design will loosly be based of the worn chery epiphone dot studio. look it up on youtube. this guitar will not be hanged up on my wall as a conversasion piece. it will be a working mucicians guitar. and the studio design is exactly that. whean you sey it you will understand what i mean whean i say that its beuty is in its simplisity. egan thanks.

wow man that sounds awsom. thears tears in my eyes chust thinking about it. but i can barley afford the dallar menu at mcdonalds. but dont worry. im about to start a band and im starting a new job as a body piercer for a hollywood tattoo shop. sow it would probably take me less than a year to save up. ther is nuthing mor in this world i would ever want mor than the ferst rushmore es335. the last thing i want is the second rushmore es335 sow pleas save the ferst one for me im begging you.

Yup! That's Marshall for ya! At least recently, or in the last 20 years. That 30th anniversary I sold had problems from the day I bought it. sometimes wouldn't turn on. Got it re-tubed and it never sounded right again!Tubes and bias are critical it seems.

Probably... You haven't seen the new Taylor electric. It only has one bolt!  No joke. One bolt, bolt on guitar. And the prices are well beyond a grand. What do think about that?

They should be beat with a rod of iron till they cry out for forgiveness and trull repent from the height from where they have fallen from ! Any novice guitar builder knows that the neck area where it meats the body must be securely bolted on !

Real informative video. The pickup selection on that guitar really gives a lot of versatility. I noticed that there was six bolts on the back of the neck. Why's that? I've seen Romans website. I checked hamony central and that is a Marshall artist 30 watt. Not so run of the mill as far a Marshall combos.

yeah we'll they only made them for 2 - 3 years and I had 2 , 1 sounded better than the other so the Quality control on those were horrible both were bought a Chuck's in 90 1 for me and 1 for James Williams and His never sounded as good ? The more bolts on a bolt on the more sustain !
