OMG. That whole airplane sequence was soooo unbelieveable. I can't believe they thought that anybody would really buy any of it. No f'n way a cargo plane is going to out-maneuver a fighter. And one chute of that design would not have done anything for two people, much less opening right before they hit the ground. They'd both have died.
One of the worst Bond films ever, in spite of a decent story and some decent acting. Craig might even make a good Bond, if he had better Direction.

Otherwise, why not have Bond throw out a handful of pixie dust, and then gossamer-winged fairies (not the SanFran kind, either!) would gently lower both him and Camille (Olga "Smokin' Hot" Kurylenko) to the ground. One is about as plausible as the other.
