  • white lies, monica (@d@)

  • Wheres Joe Biden

  • Good Question.

  • He skipped the Daily Kos Convention because he thought that they were too far to the left and it would help him with independents

  • How can ANYONE possibly believe Hillary is experienced and therefore her policies are better? Hillary sounds like a fool when she talks and insults my intelligence. Congrats to the others for doing their research. The Pakistan debate's great. Al Qaeda is more entrenched than ever there and is terrifying. Musharraf is their last obstacle. Thanks also to candidates supporting structural, long term change. Money and politics are indeed corrupt. And thanks to those wanting to improve our world image

  • give away ya "VOICE" no matter what!

  • Mr.President Barack Obama

  • fuck the us admin. and us. politicians

  • "Maybe the people who think there's a conspiracy out there are right," - Peter DeFazio (member of Congress and Homeland Security)

  • I am voting for DENNIS KUCINICH! He is the one with integrity.

  • "Bill Clinton had ten chances between May of 1998 and June of 1999 to capture and kill Bin Laden." - Michael F. Scheuer, Chief, from 1996 to 1999, of the Bin Laden Issue Station, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center.

  • vote for mike gravel!

the only one there with a clear plan that would work, and give the power back to the people.

  • Go Obama, Go!!!!!!!!!! I hope Obama wins.

  • The war aginst terrorism cannot be won by military means.

  • Thank goodness Rove took all the NSA files on you dirty rotten Progressive Communists with your porn and email support for Al Qaeda! Rove Communications Rocks!

  • Around 8:00 what kind of vote was Gravel talking about?

  • hes an old man in a rocking chair on a front porch, just waving his hand languidly at the gnats and ranting about whatever subject he is brought up. he just criticizes and offers no alternative other than "get rid of everyone in office and get rid of all the laws!" then he can go back to his platinum igloo and sip cocoa

  • Thank you for promoting this!

Between the blogs and YouTube, the nature of politics is changing in this country. Taking control away from the news media and putting it in the hands of the American people.

  • thank god for kos. It really cut down the candidates for me.

clinton, obama, dodd, richardson, and biden (not present) are full of shit.

  • and barack is more full of shit than all of 'em. i dont know why you put clinton there, though--she is more intelligent and serious than the rest

  • barack full of shit? he's one of the most authentic ones on the platform.

  • i'd put "smart but a little tooooo polished" over "authentic and dumb as a pile of shit" ANY DAY

  • @todnyc i feel sorry for u.

  • Thinking of other cultures, building schools for a basic education. This is how the world gets a start to unity in diversity.

  • Sad but true Zeldovich....Paul, Gravel, and Kucinich are probably the best humans for the job, but are the least likely to get a nomination from their parties. Edwards said some great things too.

  • Clinton has cute smile to hide her guile and a quick wit to disguise bulls@#%.

  • didn't you say this last video?

  • Kucinich! The perfect, most honest presidential candidate of all time.

  • He is honest, yes. I profoundly disagree with much that he says, but I'll take him over any of the others, save Gravel. I hope everyone will support an honest candidate. There are only three in the two major parties. They are Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul.

  • I think John Stewart said it best "I think the candidate less likely to win is allowed to speak the most freely".

  • The interrupt them constantly. its very annoying.

  • the reason for that is because the candidates - except for Christopher Dodd - all bear speech impediments, constantly stammering or dragging their speech in a slow drawl in order to cheat their time while the actual content of their speeches is extremely empty and shallow. Ineptness. In other civilized European countries such faltering conduct would not make it anywhere near any presidential debate where one would find such interruption.

  • Some of them are trying to sell the "We have to understand them better" mentality. I will start embracing Muslim/Arab culture when they start accepting Middle Class American culture.

  • Sounds like their solution to Iraq is to redeploy, from Iraq to Darfur.

  • Obama is a moron if he thinks that doubling foreign aid is going to stop terrorism. Hillary is eqaully demented with her "educate the bad guys" and negotiate with terrorists idea.

  • agreed and i would also hope you arent another dupe in the hoards of snobby liberals that fall for all this vile neo-conservatism combined with limousine liberalism.

  • The level of sheer arrogance it takes for anyone

from the right to say a single word about Obama's

lack of experience after running and electing

George W. Bush is UNBELIEVEABLE. That is enough

hypocrisy to make any decent person gag.

  • Barack Obama was AWESOME when he said "We need to hunt down those who perpetrated that tragedy, by the way they WEREN'T in Iraq"

Iraq has been Anti American......Man this guy is the greatest....I just don't think ANY of the other candidates come close to him~:)

  • Barak is deffinetly a great candidate, but don't put all your eggs in one basket just yet. Edwards has shown himself as a great visionary reformer, i could really see some momentum growing behind him. Nothing would be a better team then edwards, obama. Then obama could run again in 8 years when he has more experience and he would have no problem winning

  • Maybe I would be ok with Edwards being the VP..I'll think on it..LOL

I feel Barack Obama has the RIGHT KIND of experience. A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, he worked as a community organizer, university lecturer, and civil rights lawyer before running for public office. He served in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, and became US Senator in 2003.

I think he has plenty of experience. For God's sake, Ronald Reagan was an actor before HE became President.

  • How long until the giant shift from anti-war to pro Pakistan invasion? I watched it happen when republicans fought against invading kosovo, when dems fight against bush's iraq (clinton was also there and bush sr too) and now I suppose dems will be all for their guy invading whoever, as long as its their guy. What a bunch of bullshit. Utterly creepy mindless bullshit. These are aggressive people here, they are not significantly different from bush, listen to what they are saying.

  • Maybe the US will pull out of Iraq and go to Darfur and kill and save people, hmmm, depending on who is in office will determine mass appeal I suppose. Poor world, many americans treat life like a football game, Affiliate, stop thinking, cheer, boo, blind loyalty, while people are wondering if the US will be attacking them next.

  • kucinich and gravel are better!

  • apparently, not too long, in fact the effect was immediate. Imperialists unite.

  • Barack needs to lay off Pakistan

  • The Federal Income tax DOES NOT go for infrastructure of our government as most Americans think. (Just the interest on the national debt) The gas tax takes care of roads, Corporate tax takes care of the military, property tax takes care of education. The federal tax issue is about the transfer of WEALTH; Mostly the wealth from YOUR pocket to the mostly FOREIGN owners of the Federal Reserve Corporation. see freedomtofascism com

  • Bad use of the word "fascism." Widescale corruption is not fascism. Fascism is a legitimate political ideology.

I should know, Im a Fascist.

  • Life and Taxes-What is the Millennium challenge corp.? The Economic Support Fund? Why $1.3 Billion to Egypt? Why $2.34 billion to Israel? Nursin-home care for veterans is only $2.2 billion. It seems our government needs to reassess its priorities.

  • Earmarks, formerly known as "pork barrer." which allow our illustious members of Congress to make extensive and expensive trips to all kinds of destinations. Also, they can be added onto some unsuspecting bill, amounting to a panacea for the home district and aiding them for the election.

  • this debate was full of imperialism cloaked under empty rhetoric and stammering. The only articulate candidate is Christopher Dodd and the only outspoken anti-imperialist candidate is Mike Grovel. They want to push their agenda of forced humanitarianism around the world from Darfur to Pakistan. They will brazenly and tacitly try to coerce and subdue Musharraf although we're already pestering him with a double standard that he's abiding to (even to the infuriation of his people)

  • personally the only presidential candidate who actually stands for the sort of "intellectual" or "rational" principles that these liberal snobs stand for is really a conservative and his name is Ron Paul. Im tired of these crowd-pleasers - the exception of which is Mike Gravel (who i dont support because he is too liberal for me but i respect because of his sincerity and candor).

  • Hey, where the hell is Joe Biden?

  • Wow Dennis really had the crowd... I wish so bad he had more media coverage... he would kick some serious ass!

  • You talk pretty tough when you're hiding behind your computer. Turn it off and go back to having sex with your sister.

  • Gravel: "We're not the imperialist power... we should be."

WHAT!? Gravel wants the U.S. to be an imperialist power? I'm hoping he didn't phrase that correctly. Man. But I liked Kucinich's response to the Foreign Policy question. He got the audience going.

  • Without fail, 100% of the time, the intelligent and reasonable comments come from the liberals, while the conservatives spout anger and insults. That says more to me than the actual content of your remarks. "Stains on bedsheets"? Come on.

  • creepy.

  • DEMOCRATS .....Progressive .....For the People

    REPUBLICANS ...Conservative ....For the Corporations

  • Hitlery will kill any one that gets in her way. Now she wants to with draw from Iraq. She was all for that war when they pulled Saddam out of that rat hole. Dodd your dentures are about to fall out. Don't talk to fast. Dennis hitlery will kill you with her bare hands. Puff the magic negro is going to be Hitlerys White House butler.

  • No matter how you slice it ... any of the Democrat presidential candidates far outweigh and outperform any of the Republican candidates ... by a l-o-n-g stretch !! No contest here !!

  • You are full of SHIT.

  • By your immature reply I judge you to be in the no-brain Ann Coulter's fan club. Grow up or your mommy will wash your dirty mouth with soap. LOL

  • At least I have a mommy. You libs come from stains on bed sheets.

  • Mike Gravel got how many questions? one in every 30 minutes, and that one is only for formality. Is it because he's too gloomy or angry? or just because he's the only one who tells the inconvinient truth as it is? These other smooth talkers are nothing but a bunch of political pussies with no balls to stand up to a bunch of loonies, their big talks are only calculated shows, nothing more.

  • Newsflash: Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. The guys who did it are in fucking Pakistan where your buddy Bush let them live free

  • yeah some ARE in pakistan, and some are in the CIA and M6 perhaps,. judging from 7/7. PNAC pulled 9/11! is that not obviouse by this time?!? when does the 'national emergancy' begin, guys? Garvel/Kuchinich 08!

  • It's just because she is a Clinton. Repub voters did the same in 2000. They supported Bush over McCain simply becayse he was Bush.

  • the ones that had the most to say were given the least time to say it. kucinich and gravel are the only ones that will bring the power back to the ones who grant it, THE PEOPLE.

  • they will never get elected - not even worth looking at them

  • Noone on this planet does politics other than people. So which people are you talking about exactly? CEOs are people. Lobbyists are people.

Corporations are people. Why would Joe Q be better? He doesn't even know how the government works but you think he should have more power?

  • I think that ALL of these candidates have some hypocracy about them... but I think that Hillary Clinton will actual be the best candidate out of all of these other ppl!! lol

& about the China situation that reminds me back in WWII when the US wanted o keep trading ties with Germany, when OBVIOUSLY they were doing very unethical unmoral things... But I think it's best to keep an open door with China. now I sound hypocritical =p

  • where was biden?

  • my guess is- getting his teeth whitened again

  • He has the smarts to avoid the hate mongers at the DailyKos.

  • the blogosphere is varied and is not gonna buy into the same old neocon BS...deal with it man

  • yeah i know -- Republican "Bushies" are still in complete denial about everything and probably DO believe that the Republicans "gave away" the 2006 midterm election to the Dems just for fun, but the pendulum of US politics has fuckin FINALLY begun to swing in the other direction, thank God

  • Wow! Best debate so far; good questions, informative exchanges and meaningful discussion -- except for Obama. Sorry to say this but, in George Carlin's immortal phrase: "He's full of shit!"

  • OBAMA BLATANTLY PLAGIARIZES HILLARY ONCE AGAIN: about China: they're "our banker," they manipulate currncy, they dont abide by trade agreements--those are DIRECTLY from Hillary's DNC & Take Back America speeches, both on here. Mail me and I can give you more examples. AGAIN: OBAMA PLAGIARIZES HILLARY. HE HAS NOTHING GOING FOR HIM BUT PLATITUDES AND STUTTERING.

  • Well they r both running for the same party so wouldn't they obviously have some the same concerns & issues??

  • Well...Gravel, Dodd, Richardson, Edwards, and Kucinich EACH have a different way of articulating their own version of what the Democratic Party should be doing, but Obama has repeatedly STOLEN lines, phrases, and metaphors straight from Hillary--in the first 2 debates, and again here. He has obviously studied and memorized parts from the videos on her site!

  • OH WOW!!! r u serious?? LOL, even though it's not tha funny...

  • if you really wanna know, just watch the "Hillcast" viodeos on her site and you'll see that Barack even stole the lines he MISused about meeting with other world leaders and engaging with them, and calling it as "sign of strength, not weakness" -- Barack plagiarizes Hillary more and more as his campaign starts to unravel more and more with increased airtime to his dumb stuttering mouth.

  • that's harsh!! he's not dumb & I know ppl who stutter, they HATE it when ppl amke fun of them for it!!

But I guess that's politics =p, idk it would be kewl to have a Black president but maybe even more kewler for a woman pres. I cna't believe I'm voting nxt year...

  • Hillary is AWESOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME..............

  • She is an awesome joke. She talks a lot and says nothing

  • well, i don't how much clearer she can be about what she wants to do--and that's in regard to every major issue. you are a Republican, i guess...?

  • Bill Richardson otherwise known as "Foghorn Leghorn" is just one big gasbag running cover for Hillary by trying to distract peoples attention from the only General Election WINNER in the bunch... John Edwards!

  • Edwards is the only choice for President in 2008. Hillary inaugurated... a nightmare for all. She is "The Corporate Candidate!" Totally FOS! Just Keep talking Hillary... without answering any question that is asked. Take more lobbyist money Hillary... After all... corporations are people too!

  • What a pathetic group. This was so convoluted. They might get the US out of Iraq but they will find someone to persecute, some people to kill. Headlines referred to the US bully when Clinton ignored the UN and bombed the hell out of Kosovo (and when he bombed IRAQ, the chinese embassy, africa) hell the US is everywhere, and for some time now. These fakes are just part of the big game. republicans and dems, what a joke.

  • Impeach Cheney and Bush! YOu go Kucinich!

  • Recommission all bases on the West Coast and start flying our personnel and equipment home. NOW!

  • You go, Gov. Richardson!

  • Senator Dodd has it right with his comment that it's better to have even just 25 senators trying to do the right thing in Congress than for all of them to throw up their hands, saying they don't have the votes to do what MUST be done! Watching all this jockeying for political position while people die in Iraq is sickening.

  • You should watch C-SPAN and see how the House Republicans received their marching order from Bush to stall any Democrat vote, through delay tactics, obstructions, and walk-outs etc. Then the Senate Republicans are doing the same thing and then blame the Democrats if nothing gets done. What a bunch of weak Bush-rubber-stampers !!

  • 533 days til one of these fine people become the President. . .

  • That was a horrible choice of metaphor Clinton. Awful.

  • For crying out loud. Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11, never did. Bush lied to you, and you still believe him. If Bush was so concerned with your safety, he would move to check more than 5% of containers coming into the country. He wont, the corporations that own the docks don't want him to, it might hurt their profits. Wake up, you're being manipulated, and clumsily at that.

  • The people who booed Kucinich are hired by Edwards and Clinton .. Remember their secretive conversation about eliminating other candidates!!!!???

  • i agree most are liars, but you can't honestly say dennis is one.

  • $400 dollar haircuts. $800,000 dollar book deals from the liberal's anti-Christ. The same person who he hypocritically complained that other candidates should return his return his donations! They're all frauds and liars.

  • Obama is intelligent, and was smart enough to have the foresight to see this blunder we are in now.

  • I thought Obama is intelligent! He is just paraphrasing Bush with the same context! "Before 9/11 we weren't in Iraq"!! What?!! Have you heard of desert storm, the no fly zone, provoking the southern shia population to their death, over a million Iraqi children dead because of America's siege, thousands of troops in Saudi and Kuwait, bases in Qatar and Jordan. Those Dems are Bushes in blue.

  • He said Al Queda wasn't in Iraq before 9/11... and they weren't. Al Queda and Iraq were sworn enemies, just look at Bin Laden's 1990s comments on Hussein.

  • I must have missed that! But the premise of the question was that if American foreign policy fuels "Terrorism". Thanks for the correction

  • Ron Paul has been saying exactly what you've just said--that "we've been bombing the Middle East for TEN YEARS" -- that is a direct quote from his altercation with Giuliani at the GOP debate, go check it out and you'll be very interested to see for yourself. i think the video has gotten almost a million views now, totaling up the various versions of it.

  • Awesome!

  • Not funny.
