  • I want this video on my S5100 phone.

  • Why couldn't they have used something no one cares about? Like a murderer, or someone to that effect. Not a fucking dog. Feelsbadman..

  • it is so hard to not try to do this. i want to see if it is legitimate. and the only way to do that is in the way of scientists.

  • A human head could of easily substituted for the dog, if the test is for humans let it be done unto humans

  • All blessings to the Omnissiah!

  • Question: does the dogs head have consciousness, or were its nerves just acting on impulse?

  • @Noise509 Impossible to say, since you can't prove consciousness. Prove to me you're conscious and not just reacting to outside stiumli. The bigger question: what's the difference?

  • Yes. I finally found it. the key to achieving immortality. All i need to do is turn my self into a cyborg and eventually all of my health problems can be solved with replaceable parts.

  • I think it is cruel, the dog has feelings and i would hate to be in that dogs position with no limbs... No Body!

But, I have to admit, it is needed for medical knowledge, but, still I fell bad for the dog...

  • OMG...it's almost sickening to me but it needs to be known. Are the people they call Christians that are against science against it because they watched this? 'Cause if they did, and they were against it becaue of this, it doesn't make any sense for them to go to doctors.

  • What about the stomach? Doesn't the head need food?

  • Maybe the taking heads in futurama will be possible

  • omg!!!!!!!

  • I can understand the heart beating based on that heart cells generate their own electrical impulses and the SA node could regulates the contractions. But without the brain I can't see how the heart can be sustained for long periods of time.

  • 2:37

Ok there's no fucking way that actually works. You need fucking electric signals for a working heart. I call bulshit on this

  • @FoolyCoolyMabase Well the heart generates its own rhythm. I living brain is not essential for a heartbeat.

  • @Bravospaz If you want the heart to beat like a plastic bag being blow into, yes, but not for making it beat LIKE THAT

  • This is so weird!!!

  • Hmm im wondering has anyone else tried this to prove the validity of their experiments? Not saying it is impossible of course with the lack of consciousness and self the dogs most basic functions could be toyed with. idk..im wondering how they did this is all...did the dog still have its mind in tact with its imprinting or did they wait until it died? Some sort of electronic stimulus would be required to kick start it then.

  • this repulses me

  • This. Is. So. Awesome.

When I get rich, I'll make them do this to me so that I can feel how its like being dead! And then live again to tell about it that is.. I have no intentions to stay dead for a very long time...

  • RE-ANIMATOR!

  • I feel sick.

  • fake

  • I love the way he says blood. "Blad"

  • is this a secret to immortallity????

  • @wwkit nope. This doesn't stop old age.

  • I am so fascinated it makes me wish I knew more about the spine so I could repeat the experiment.

  • it is fake!

  • @augustoalmeida It is not !

  • Much as this is essential to human knowledge, this is fucking gross.

  • I'm all for science, i love all sciences but there are some things that just don't need to be done. We humans just don't know when to stop and it will be our undoing. This however seems very cruel and terrible, it sickens me.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh god, how can you be that stupid? sure it is possible to put people on a machine which does the lungs' and heart's work. that's what they do in the hospitals. but making one's heart work again doesn't mean he is revived. brain is damaged after several minutes of lacking the oxygen, and it's too complicated to make it work again the right way as you can do with the heart which needs basically an electrical impulse.

  • i tried this on an ant and it worked also i like cake!

  • I don't think that level of movement is possible without neck muscles attatched to the body. Funny, though.

  • IF this is real... (looks kinda hoax to me) it would be what can be called "Dark Science".

It's definetly a controversial subject, and if it was today, animal rights group and moral activists would most likely have it shut down.

However, you can't deny the fact that if this actually worked, it would be/was a big step in human science and progress that could someday lead to saving thousands of human lives...

  • @Ikkiku it is possible that the experiments were staged for filming purposes, however the experiment happened for real and was successful... 30 years after this experiment, and american scientist Dr White who witnessed the experiments in the 40s, repeated similar experiment, but on monkeys... look it up

  • @Ikkiku if this wasn't real, we wouldn't have artificial longues and artificial hearts for people on life support

  • Jesus fucking christ guys, if you're so morally against this how about you stop taking any and all pharmaceuticals ever made? here's a spoiler for ya: they were ALL tested on animals first

and while you're at it, if you get fucked up in any way just don't go to the hospital at all, cause any life-saving treatment they give you was first tried on animals and probably resulted in several thousand rats being killed to keep you alive.

don't start with the moral BS in a case like this

  • impacting well you can revive a human just do this and inject the blood suffer to work and then it revives

  • yet when it came to the dog's living head,i couldnt go on... its a bit too disgusting for me,,

  • quite frankly,as dogs are an especially touchy subject with me,i was about to disagree with most done in this experiment. THOUGH,i do agree that human life is important, equally to a dog's life. so by killing one dog,in my opinion, we saved tousands,MILLIONS even. men too, ofcourse. regardless,i wonder if this could have been done in a more humane way..

  • @gokoo123 they would have done this on monkeys (like americans did in the 70s) but there are not many monkeys in that region, so they did this on dogs... japanese recently did this on rats... all make up and similar products are tested on animals every day! with a high death rate actually... so stfu at least this was done to develop understanding of reviving organisms... and pretty much already saved millions (transplantology...) same scientists developed blood transfusion - which also save mlls

  • Poor animal.

  • *Agreed with LilSc0ttE *

c'mon guys.... would you rather we just go ahead and start these experements on humans or would you want to make sure they work first on an animal...?

  • well consider...sacrificing 1 dog just 1 dog has saved thousands of humans! I could imagine that in order to keep a human alive during a heart transplant some mahcin or pump would be used to keep the blood flowing, thus keeping the human alive... so see? this dog was a sacrifice needed for the advancement of our own kind!

  • Is it necessary to save some human???

  • yeah...let me ask you this. Would YOU do that if they paid you? -_-

  • @LilSc0ttE that was also dead dog

  • @LilSc0ttE well, that's a little blue-eyed ;) or better said: you see the world through rose-coloured glasses... do you really think they used only one dog in all the decades of medicine research? humans used thousands of animals for experiments! i don't support it nor do i disapprove it, i just wanted to correct your statement

  • Un perrito muerto!

  • I can't describe how badly I feel for the dogs being brought back to life. It just sounds like complete torment.

  • I agree, but only because that one didn't exist in full. If a beloved pet could be brought back to exist longer with its beloved owners as a healthy, whole creature, it would be great.

  • this is sooo cool!

  • If this would be used today, it would be nice.

  • This is real alright. If you think about it, amazing discovery.

  • No this video is real. It is sad and kind of creepy but it was to test the viability of a device like the autojector, Which gave way to our modern day life support systems like the ventilator and the modern day blood pumps that doctors use to circulate blood through the body while doing heart transplants and the like. Yes it is sad ,and terrible but research like this has help advance modern medicine a great deal.

  • Why they didn't show the back of the head? maybe its fake and the rest of the body is under the table

  • I think it's fake. The dog is able to move his head. But how can he do it withut neck and without muscles?Imposible

  • cuz there are muscles everwhere in the head.

    This could be real.

  • It's true, but this dog is moving his neck.Without .The dog hasn't got neck.maybe he has,but without back you can't move your neck.I think this video fake. And the dog swaloing as well.intresting

  • well its not like he move alot,

well this is still sad if its real.

    =(

  • It is real.

He's also not moving his "neck", but the muscles in his jaw and face. When a dog like that adjusts the jaw muscles, especially when laying against the table, it forces the head to move or shake.

  • this is AMAZING !! :O

    back of the dead...

this is information for the future and maybe help to world for the medicine modern :D

    good video.. ! :D

    Amazing information! :D 5/5 !

  • Megele would have been proud...

    awesome none the less

  • is that music, that f%&ing music..

  • I have been in Moscow its a pretty nice church there outside the city where all the dogs and animals that proved this insane but nessecery experiments its pretty decorated there i like the place i whas there and putted flowers on theyr graves. the animals died as heroes and i will treath them like my self i will treath them like a human being becuse theyr living creaturs and we should respect them!

  • How about you learn to spell before commenting on anything else?

  • No why should i, its like 29349 trillions people in this universe that can't spell correct

  • "Insane but nessecery"

Bit of a dichotomy there. If something is necessary, if there is reason behind it, it is not insane. You probably mean "disturbing".

  • that must have been was very painful for the dog. i dont think this experiment was so necessary.

  • the dog is irrelevent, what matters is that it is possible to re-activate organs, and/or keep something alive after it would normally have died.

now im sure you can imagine the benefits of such experimentation.

if it helps, the damned dog was a martyr for the advancment of human knowledge.

  • so russians get the credit for medical advancements in this field cos of this experiment? i doubt it. science doesnt work by relying on only one experiment. there are many ways to achieve same result.

  • give me another way to test this technology then

  • Would you like it better if another country got the credit?

When the hypothesis is "Can we remove a head and brain and reconnect it to a blood supply so it regains consciousness?" I don't see too many other ways to achieve the result without actually lopping off a head.

  • Yeah, alright a martyr. How about you become a martyr and have done to you what was done to this dog? Laying there for hours, just a head, unable to speak nor barely move until finally...YOU DIE. For "the advancement of human knowledge." It shouldn't bother you right? As long as we all learn something...what does your life matter? Exactly.

  • All people who cry about this are hippy fags who don't understand how science works.

  • Then why not use people? I don't understand how I'm a "hippy fag" just because I love animals. Answer those questions for me.

  • Because people are more valuable

  • But how, you just 'said' they were more valuable, you didn't give an explanation as too why...

  • Because we are more developed.

  • More Developed doesn't translate into "better"; are you honestly telling me that a 99 Ford F-150 is better at hauling stuff than the old Dodge Power Wagons? 'Cause it's not and it never will be... Just because something has more bells and whistles, doesn't mean it's superior, it means it's flashier which usually indicates it's hiding something...

  • Shut the fuck up. You know I am right , you hippy fag.

If animals really don't want us to experiment on them, they should form a military or something and start a war against human race.

Until that happens, we have pretty much control over them.

    Now stfu

  • WTF are you blathering on about? First of all I'm far from a "hippy fag"; second, how's about you grow some balls and fight FOR them since you know they can't fight for themselves. And THIRD, it seems that whatever can't form an army and revolt is fair game for experimentation (going off of your logic that is) so how about we experiment on newborns? They can't form an army or militia can they? What does it feel like to fail so fucking much?

  • Newborns are much more useful to us if we don't experiment on them. They are necessary for this society to function. If we were experimenting on newborns, everybody would be afraid to have babies.

Also, I do not fail because most of smart minds will agree with me. But you are some crybaby furry that lives in mom's basement, so feel free to yiff in hell.

  • How is this society so fucking important? Honestly, let's take a look at this; nuclear waste, non-renewable energy sources, over population, over hunting, religion, racism, sexism, prejudice, war, pollution... I can go on. Now, let's look at what animals leave; feces and urine... Fuck; I guess you really DO fail, go back to /b/ jagg-off...

  • Furry, please. You know I'm right. I bet you don't even have any friends and are a fucking virgin.

Biology? :D lol Ask Dawkins if he agrees that you should test on human babies instead of animals. It would be interesting to see his response to such a moronic question.

  • Dawkins... You're going to try and convince ME with Dawkins... Dawkins is a renowned ethnologist and evolutionary biologist; why would he disagree with me? Secondly, you're one of the reasons why I almost agree with "keeping the stupid stupid" because assholes like you go out and read (I'm gonna guess here) "the God Delusion" and then report back to "the internets" that you are now officially a scientist and that your statements are, everyone of them, filled with merit and truth... You fail.

  • Oh yeah, one more thing; you keep going on and on about science as if you yourself are a scientist; you're not. I however am currently pursuing a degree in wildlife biology which gives me more credibility than you as well as a bit more knowledge on the subject. Just give up dude, you're not gonna win this one...

  • So when aliens come to earth and keep your body alive in twenty different parts it will be ok, cuz there more developed? This shit is disgusting.

  • @JinxKid9000 The animal isn't aware of anything, it's pure mechanical. Now since you find this appalling you better not end up in a hospital where a machine keeps you alive, that is just sicking!

  • @plasticnapoleon22 martyr yourself then

  • anti-creation type people remind me of driving without a seat belt. You know what the eventual end will be.

  • ur really ignorant

  • human beings are animals...and people like you twist the "words of god" and make religion out to be an ugly thing..

  • The funny thing is you actually believe in god.

  • WTF you hear Nazi out All living creatur is importent and if you fucknut don't get it so i will kill you kill you so you die a painfull dead this experiments is terrible but no one can't stop it exept a man with the most deadlyest virus but you don't wanna die or what Its human natur and we will always do it we will always find out things you can't stop it i can't stop it its destiny and its controling us not me or you

  • maybe science is going a little too far

  • People are so damn cruel, animals are not meant to be experimented with.

  • As cruel as these experiments seem they are essnetial for human medical knowledge.

  • @cts83 Maybe then we should have used humans. One life is not worth more than another.

  • @cts83 Yeah... so essential. I love the corporate/consumption approach to everything. All the technology and food we now eat poses serious health problems. So what do we do? We don't solve the cause and approach the problems nutritionally.. we keep eating the same stuff, and try to figure out how to get rid of symptoms. This is not necessary for a healthy life. We just keep messing up nature, there are sideffects, then we try to fix the sideffects, and there are new ones.. this isn't balance.

  • Though I know there WERE experiments of this type, I'd like to point out that this video is fake. You can't bring back a brain with just oxygen and blood. The most obvious thing about this film being fake is when the hammer strikes the table; not only does the dog head shift in unconvincing ways, but there is far too much motion for lack of a neck and shoulders. Fake video is fake.

  • They didn't bring it back to life, they cut it's head off and hooked it to the machines.

  • It was conscious and aware and reacting to external stimuli, what would you call it if not life?

  • look this severed dog head can still hear

    'bangs hammer on the table'

    priceless

  • Wow even though the head was removed and put on the life support machine it still looks like that the brain of the dog is still recieving pain from where it was severed, i think it's too cruel some things humans just shouldn't play god with and just leave the dog alone and give it a proper resting after death...

  • eu tenho 1 medo dessas coisas em preto e branco o.o [2]

  • Muito bom esse vídeo, eu já tinha visto a alguns meses e fiquei impressionado

  • awesome!!!

  • eu tenho 1 medo dessas coisas em preto e branco o.o

  • ahuahuhauhauhauahu

    mulherzinha,va ver a xuxa então!!

  • STALIN!!

  • No you are conscious for at least 30 seconds when your head is chopped off

  • ?? maybe you're insane...

  • I agree with clampmaster. The head part was probably faked. It's pretty obvious, because you never get to see how the tubing was attached to the head.

  • I love old school science

  • Nobody seems to realize, dogs were only one of the test paitens. During hitlers reign jewish people were cut open and experimented on, not stiched up and given paper bags to cover the wound. Much of the original indepth medical books were based on the nazi experiments. As for the people who were experimented on, they got to sit and wait for death for their wonderful contribution. Maybe you will see some Jihad re-animation videos in the future???

  • Dogs or humans. It's equally awful to me. Humans are so egotistical. What if an alien race came down and decided we were inferior and filled their grocery stores with our cut up carcases or used us for experiments. What makes us superior to animals? Why do we feel we can do such atrocious things to them. Take away their homes, put them in cages, eat them, hunt them if we think they're over populating. We're the only animal over populating.

  • Saintadeline, its called survival of the fittest

we evolved and were smarter, if we don't kill animals, well who knows what would happen. We evolved to be omnivores not damn vegetarians.

  • Even if it's not a fake, the dog is NOT alive !! The reflexes were shown, that's all, but it is NOT alive! Was it making eye contact, was it whimpering, was it barking? I guess not!

In my opinion it would be the same with human beings, our pupils would dilate and all that stuff, but I doubt that we would know what is happening to us, I doubt that we would be there ... be alive!!

  • How do you expect a dogs head to bark with no body? The disturbing part was the reaction to sound and the destinctive curling of the eyebrow. Ive worked with dogs for many years and the charachteristics in that video were that of a coherent animal. Which leads me to believe the footage of the head was faked. The responses were that of a thinking animal. The heart and all the other crap was real, just not the head...

  • Yeah .. I did a big mistake when talkin' about barking .. you're right .. !

I can't say if it's a fake or real .. but as I said .. in case that this was real, I doubt that this dog was "alive".

  • Poor head of dog but this exmperiment in cool and interesting

  • insane cientifics... i think about the pain of the dog....

  • Can't feel pain if there isn't nerve endings.

  • there are nerve endings in the neck that has been sliced.

  • Reviving the head is pretty horrible, and cruel. I don't think that should have been done. However, the things they do in part 2 of this video aren't so bad. and before you flame me for saying that - in part 2 the dog is under painkillers, and gets revived fully - the same way people do NOW when they go through heart surgery or something like that.

  • It a good worthing tryinf out if someone murder and dies try this same as dog....dead person will wake or talking? will it works?

  • incredible I love dogs

  • The dogs were really only dead for a few seconds. Just like having heart surgery today

  • Absolutely deplorable.

  • I've watched more zombie movies then I can count. I think that even if a person was 'revived' from death, they would not become flesh consuming brain munchers. More likely they'd just lay around drooling, with is disturbing in it's own way.

And in a basic biological way humans do work like animals, humans are animals. There would be no personality or 'soul', is the only difference.

  • Thou that playeth God shall be a portion unto Jackels in the lower of hell.

  • so if you have a horrible car crash whe don't have to hook you up to a heart long machine ? and don't give you medicine at all cuz that is also playing god.

  • I'm not saying that. I believe that it is wrong to kill a healthy living being just to bring it unnaturally back to life. Lets say a child dies but the body is preserved in some new preservation cryogenics system. To bring that child back from death could vary well be like death all over again. Humans don't work like animals and some unforseen event will occur. WATCH MORE ZOMBIE MOVIES THEY TELL THE TAIL OF WHY REANIMATION IS BAD!

  • How true! Indeed, God created satan and allows His work. God is satan, satan is God. It's very simple: God is a jealous jackel, just as you so-noted.

  • When they revive that dogs head is just messed up!

  • Oops! I mean "The part when they revive that dogs head is just messed up!"

  • Woah ... that heart beating under artificial conditions amazing. If this is real, then it has to be the ultimate biological Ruth Goldberg machine ...

  • this man is a shit, poor animals, hey mother fuckers killers, ok. sayonara my friends.

  • Learn to speak english please.

  • Aunque sea cruel, el desarrollo de estos instrumentos contribuyó a la posibilidad de la cirugias a corazón abierto, la diálisis y el trasplante de orgános.

  • lol

  • farsa !

  • _|_

  • This may be fake, but still pretty cool

  • pretty interesting/weird stuff, but I was pretty traumatized by seeing the revived dog's head. Vivisection at it's absolute worst. Hooray for PETA!

  • lol?

  • American-Soviet eh? Any one think that strange? hmmmmm Maybe the Commies did take us over after all. Fucking commies!

  • It wasn't until after the end of WW2 that Russia became the enemy. They where an allie at this time...
