The old Bond movies sure were classics. I like the new ones with Craig too but it seems to be lacking the stuff in the old movies. Some humor, randomness, gadgets, and always an ingeniously clever getaway by Bond at the end. Like the knife throwing assassin in the coffin, the guy still trying to row at 2:05 as he sinks, the guy with the booze, gondola turning into a hovercraft...

The only thing I laughed at was the guy who fell out of the motorboat at the end of the scene. I know Bond isn't that much a secret agent, but that gondola was ridiculous even for the film franchise.

I have a question, though. Do they actually have traffic lights for boats in Venice?

OK, the guy at 2:44 has been in at least 3 bond films with this booze thing. He was on the beach when the Lotus drove up from the depths in The Spy Who Loved Me and was on the balcony in For Your Eyes Only during the ski/motorcycle chase. Any others?

Just did a bit of a google search. His name is Victor Tourjansky. He appeared in the three I listed. Also, while I'm at work and should be working, one of the henchmen in Dr. No who beats up Bond is also Sandor in The Spy Who Loved Me, Milton Reid.

@cochranexyz i think he was in 3 Movies..and i think in the Spy Who Loved Me making of (DVD or Bluray) they say the joke about it....i think it was in the 3 Movies the Camera Man...the first was Spy w.....they needed a guy at the beach because the actor was ill..so the camera man did it...and the ordience liked him so much,that he appears in 2 other bonds...i hope im right....long time ago that i saw the making of...
