had the ICF-CS10iP model for 3 years now and it worked great with my 2nd gen ipod touch, this year got an iphone 4g and it wont play music, but it charges it... guess its time i got a new ihome...

@michael9594 From what I have been able to tell on the clock, is that you only set the time zone...it receives a signal as to the time. I am not around the clock now, but I will take a look at it and see if I can figure that out.

how loud do these speakers get? Would i still be able to hear the music if i was outside at the park and i was about half a field away?

I have used one and not used one...do not think it really matters

@razorbeck Actually it could matter. The docking widths of the various models vary from the iPhone & iPod. It helps to stabilize  the unit so it doesn't receive any accidental damage to the pins. Your iPod/iPhone should come with a docking adapter.

not really sure. It seems like it gives it a richer sound, but there is not much difference when you press that button

@PblGunReviewShow Alot like Stereo Wide back in the day, irritating after a few seconds listening to this preset ! The Mega Bass is almost needed as when deactivated the speakers sound like bass was filtered out !

When on special this is a descent alarm/clock/iPod dock.

It is OK. I have not really got into trying to increase the bass or anything. I have simply used it to listen to my tunes from time to time and the sound is really good quality.
