According ton the writer, this was left over footage they filmed for "The Trial", but the episode over ran, so they cut these out, then said comic releif could use them, so no one actually gave their time for the charity. But it helped draw the viewers.

this wasn't filmed specially for comic relief, it was a delted scene from the episode "The Trial" where victor is home alone, it was taken out the episode because it made it too long and because it interupted the flow of victor walking about the house. guess they thought it was too good to simply not use altogether so they put it up for comic relief, very clever and very effective aswell, why are all of todays sitcoms shit???

@jamez00 Yeah, sitcoms 2day are crappy. In old sitcoms like this, it is not false laughter that you hear now on 2day's sitcoms and they make it feel like American comedies.
