  • Fantastic selection of pictures, I'd love to know if you have dates for the pictures and also there were a few places I didn't quiet recognise. I would be most interested in learning more if you are able to contact me? I too have a few (more modern) views of Lancaster with particular emphasis on the demolition of buildings,perhaps we could swap info? :) Many thanks Sarah b :)

  • really good video, some old pictures i've not seen before, done a few chaning video's myself, its nice seeing how the city has changed, not always for the better, you should put on the 40 mins version in sections, and i have added it to my favourites !

    What a fantastic video, beautifully put together. I'm a Lancaster lad, born and bred. This is a dose of nostalgia that I really enjoyed watching, catching a glimpse of so many familiar and yet "just" familiar places. Thank you.

  • Excellent. Lived here all my life, some of the photos are brilliant. Especially the houses on Morecambe Road and Scale Hall being built.

  • Thanks for this. I still visit family in Lancaster once or twice a year - lived there from 1957 to 1968. I recognise most of the places - some have changed completely and others are still pretty much as they are!
