actually fish691 is right you can tell because only a genuis could do that memorized and all he had to do was start with it it solved and then just randomlly mix it up - if you want to see the same thing look up michel gondry solves a cube with his feet and you'll see he does it backwards to
Its sad how you are trying to say that its sped up, he pretended to memorize it, or he put the stopwatch to 1:18.
If you use your common sense, you would realize that the clip is backwards, and the stopwatch was already set. He shows you the time, puts on the blindfold, mixes it up then looks at it for a while.
wow, that blows me out of the water. Your speed is amazing. My best time is 5:18 blindfolded and 37 looked at. Major props. and no, i dont have a photographic memory. it would be nice though
If I ever made a video of this, I'd tun off coments because of all the sceptics around. You did a good job man, ignore the pricks that doubt everything they can't do.
oh yeah and about the stopping right on 78 sec that to me proves it is real, grab a stopwatch once and try to stop it exactly on 78 sec, you wont now you have to start over again nobody is that stupid
goodxy2002... check on the internet a bit more you'll realize there's people that can make 7 moves in .7 secs... don't think it's sped up cause of how well he does it... his timer was dead on too, if you watch the video's time against his. I think the fastest solved now is 10.48s, this one was obviously without the blindfold though. It becomes second nature to these people with photographic memories
Most people who can solve a rubik's cube blidfolded do NOT have photographic memories. You just need to memorize a chain of numbers and execute algorithms according to those numbers...in no way do you need a photographic memory.
I can solve a rubik's cube... and yes using a series of algorythms, but I can't do it blindfolded if I don't remember where all the colors are going to be when I start applying those moves and the way i turn the cube. But I only solve it in like 2 and a half 3 minutes now
Funny how you tell about the 10.48 seconds to the guy who actually did it. And please stop spreading the photographic memory myth. First learn how people do things before presuming such nonsense (I feel qualified to make this statemend as I've blindsolved Megaminx, 5x5, super 5x5 and some other puzzles, and I know about the techniques of the memorization world champions).

on thing that impresses me, is that the timer is set to EXACTLY 1:18:00, no milliseconds at all....Lucky? Even if it wasn't 78 seconds, it's still pretty fast. ALthough for all we know he solved it, switch a few blocks, pretended to memorize it, and then move the blocks back and forth from point 1 - 2 - 1 so that it looked like he was solving it, and then easily just put back the few changes he made in the beginning.
That could obviously be ezily faked being pushed. He most likely had the timer already set at 78 seconds before he started, since we can't see the timer in the beginning, he took advantage of that.
He's fu cking playing the tape backwads

Its that simple. You're welcome

Practise makes it, if you practise all day long just blindfolded, then I presume you would get faster with memorization... I believe this is real.

you're an idiot. Stopping exactly on a certain time happens all the time. It is possible to solve a cube blindfolded.
Plus the guy thats doing it is ASIAN! ASIANS can do anything. lol.

I find it almost impossible to believe that someone can solve this fast blindfolded (destroying the previous record average by FIFTHTEEN seconds).
