@RyanZiActor Actually this is the 3rd act. In the 2nd act, you don't see his fall, you just hear it. 3rd act, he trips on the box and falls down the stairs.
But i give credit, the staying up and then getting hit by the door was brilliant
well done, we did this at our high school, our actor literally fell down the staris everynight at rehersals and performances we sold out every performance even saturday at 2:00
in ours. Dustin (the tripped person) accidently literally tripped. he had planned out a fall but then his foot got caught on the box anyways and fell the wrong way... luckily he wasn't hurt too badly.
My school did this and well are set is more crap than yours maby slightly beter lol idk but we have some more room to work with Nose bleed got to love them
my school's doing this production right now. and i must admit i was kind of disappointed with garry's fall in this video. my school had a stage combat expert come and teach our garry how to actually fall down the stairs. with tumbles and whatnot. much much much more convincing. nonetheless; you guys have some pretty good actors.
The guys in this clip are great with physical comedy. Not reaching for laughs, just being brilliantly funny. Kudos to all involved. Looks like it must've been a very fun show to put on. :D
Im telling ya, whoever does this part has to be careful! I was garry/ rodger in my high school play, and a few times on accident, i actually did fall and trip down the stairs, without me controlling it and it KILLS
My high school just put on this production, and the guy who fell down the stairs was SO convincing that he had his fellow cast members wondering if he was okay.
hey, great job, im doin noises off for my high school next year, itsa our cappie show, and im auditioning for garry/rodger. Great improve or making up things or whatever, love how the door hits you instead of the boring old thing. tell me more about your show cya
i did this show my senior year and i played garry/roger and man i know how that can feel....the opening night i fell down the stairs and sprained my knee...so i give props to people that play that role
I saw it yesterday in Washington D.C. Besides the obnoxious girl sitting next to me, the play was insane. A lot of stuff going on at one time. Very creative. I give a lot of credit to the director for putting it together as well as to Michael Frayn for writing such a crazy piece.
Ahhhhh ahhhh ahhhhhh!!!
Oh, safe.
OOF!

In our version, our actor dropped the box in front of him, and literally tripped down the stairs and it was a HUGE fall.
