We proper gave it to the Pie Eating Ba****ds. What a day to be a Cas fan. I remember coming home through Leeds and no-one could believe that Cas kept Wigan try-less for the 2nd time that season (remember the 46-0 pasting we gave them at Wheldon Rd in October 93). Oh happy days!!!
That has to be Castleford's best performance ever in a Final - it was 22nd Jan 1994 - Regal Trophy Final.
They annihilated a Wigan side that swept everyone before them on a normal day (don't forget Wigan went to Brisbane shortly after and won the WCC IN Brisbane) - Nikau looked like he was on a mission that day. I missed that match as it was my Wedding Day - I wish I'd watched the game instead. I think Cas won 33-2 ???
