If you ask me ed is probably the smartest because in the first movie he was the first one to notice simba and nala escaping, he didn't fall in the thorn bush like banzai and he stayed out of the cave when banzai called pumbaa a pig, plus he was the one who licked his lips wanting to eat scar, which means he knows when to get revenge and not to be messed with

As much as i love this show i've always had a prob with the fact that hyenas would never fear cheetahs and that as far as hunters go hyenas are far superior.

NOTE: Given that Shenzi and Banzai have at least enough verbal intelligence for those rapid-fire puns, I'm inclined to believe that "birdie boiler" type incidents are due to ADHD or something similar, not stupidity. Ed may actually be mentally retarded, but he may also just have some sort of disorder prevent him from talking normally.

why do i love hyenas so much???!!! no clue. as you can imagine, the lion king hyenas are my most favorite of all. I noticed they're a lot more cartoony then in the move. the snotty cheetahs will dump them in lava, send them to the north pole, and nothing works. love that.

I love those cheetahs there classy and brillent. cheetahs R my favorite animals. but they made a mistake cheetahs have non-retractable claws. But lions have retractable claws and they where always shown. Love this!
