Once you cut into the cake, it looked okay, but the multicolored icing was a bad idea. It wouldn't have taken you 4 hours to make the cake if you colored the batter and then iced with white/vanilla icing. Nice attempt at the cake though

When I make my 6 layered rainbow cake it takes 3 hours. I put food colouring in the cake mix. Bake 2 layers at a time. Then ice with only one colour for icing.

there was a much easier way, and that way when you cut the cake up, you will actually see the COLORS INSIDE the cake, not just regular white cake with confetti ^_^

just a suggestion for next time you stack a cake.. just take a very long knife and trim the tops off the cakes to make them flat and even this way the cakes all fit perfectly ontop of eachother :)

haha umm well u just mix them until it looks right. depends if u want a yellowish orage or a dark orange. the more red the darker the more yellow the lighter. usually add a little more yellow than red i think =)
