I'm a beginner in airsoft and I bought this gun at Sail & Baron Sports in Quebec (where I live) But this gun has been upgraded up to 325 FPS instead of the usual 275 FPS. I find it accurate, good rate of fire (not too high, not too low)but it fire not enoug far I think. It's better for close/medium combat range.

Kraken is a rebranded Jg with some MADE in US parts and don't say a gun is bad i can take people out with my springer that doesn't work. just walk up behind them and say "bang" and they are dead.

i bought one of these not long ago, and it seems to me the hop doesn't work at all. i roll the wheel up but it doesn't do anything. is it supposed to stop rolling up at some point? is there a way to fix it? mine is the improved version with 325 fps and the battery in the butt of the gun w/o modding.

I'm guessing you have the clear version? The new version is a disgrace because you have to wind the magazine 75 times everry time you unload 75 shots. read the manual, it's right there.

No way is that 280 fps with .20 gram bbs. I have a AEG and it puts a hole in a soda can from point blank and its around 280 fps.

For what gun? Most high powered snipers probably perform better with the heavier ammo, it won't shoot them as fast but they usually go a bit further and shoot straigter. For most Assult rifles, AEPs and Support weapons or even spring rifles(at 300fps)use the 0.20 gram, because you there is no need to spend extra on heavier ammo because they probably have a lower velocity and therefore heavier ammo isn't going to work aswell. 0.12 are used for very low powered crap AEGs or low powered spring guns

I've been using this gun for a while now and i love it in airsoft war. It takes about 6 hours to charge but it lasts a long time in battles. The ROF is really good to but it burns through a lot of ammo if you use full auto.

well this is the pulse r72 so it should be the same as your pulse r72..the fps is only about 280 with .2's. i took off my stock and put a cap on it and now its my CQB gun

yea, i seen it already.. i had no idea about it because usually all the crosman guns are in dicks sporting goods (or atleast most of them) and this one isnt there. but im definatley getting the r76! crosman doesnt lie about their FPS like alot of brands do, but it says the r76 has 370fps with .2's! so i really cant wait until its sold at dicks!
