Have you thought about writing some movie scores?? You really should. 99.9% of people couldn't write anything comparable to this to save their lives. And everyone would enjoy to listening to some good old Leo Perez classics. ;) You could really be the next Howard Shore if you tried. This music is unbelievable. Love it. :)

Thanks SO much! I have written some music for TV, advertising and short films, but you wouldn't believe the competitions and red tape involved. It just takes all the magic and enjoyment away of writing music sometimes. Besides is still music for hire, and I like to write my own stuff. However, I workign with a few talented directors and they like my music, we will see what happens. !

hey leo how do you come up with your left hand stuff i have had this one similar pattern that ive used for most of my compositions but i need something new cause its getting old, any tips??

I usually start with the bass aprt only, and part form there, different arpeggios and combinations. It's very useful to consciously try to have different dynamics (strong, loudd, free tempo, etc) It really helps you get into it.
