Just played through the whole game AND just took a government course on the Cold War relations. The US should have air superiority, as Russian air force was inferior to the American ones.. I don't see how Russians can like paradrop tanks. The Soviets were declining internally and had a crap economy so they couldn't fund all of their defense spending.

Still you can say the the United States invaded Canada but didn't win by a long shot because Britain had strong defenses and if they wanted to they could have done a lot more damage than burning down the White House.
