tasers dont kill people heart conditions kill people.. and if people dont comply with the law well police have to do whats necessary for their own safety police dont know if peeple have heart conditions ...if u have a heart condition and dont wanna get tased dont break the law

Yes. Police should do what is NECESSARY for their own safety. Was he ever once in DANGER??? Seriously. She was 73. And short...almost 5 ft!!

He made a serious mis-judgement and it is something that needs to be looked into to avoid any future cases like this.

then what would have done? and it doesnt matter if she was either 73 or short .. he didnt make a mis judgment u have ur own opinion im just trying to say what he did was exactly the right thing.. he told her numerous times he would tase her and she basically tried him.. she deserved it

And if she had died? Would you be making the same assessment? His life wasn't in danger. Point blank. But the man put here to 'protect and serve' ended up putting her life in danger. Regardless of how she acted, the taser should be the next to last thing he resorted to! He could have easily grabbed her and cuffed her. That would have been a much better reaction. These are not my opinions. These are facts.

and if he would grabbed her and cuffed her and he left a bruise or somehting that wouldve been police brutality..and if she ahd died yes i would be making the same arguement. but she didnt she is still alive and in her reprt she gave against said she didnt do anything .. however the video shows she argueed... but regardless he told her he would tase her that right there she shouldve been like o crap maybe i should sign the ticket instead of getting tazed but no she fights n tells him shes

The taser is the second to last weapon that is supposed to be used by the police. A GUN comes after that. A Gun. You know, that LETHAL weapon? Do you realize that since 2003 over 300 people have died from the taser? Why was her LIFE put in danger? Do you not hold LIFE as a priority???

Yes they DO DIE! And I don't think the cop had to resort to using his taser when she was only 4'11", even if she WAS a little bit spunky. I don't condone her actions though. She was caught speeding and she should have just signed the ticket in the first place. Still, I think he went way too far.

The chance of death dramatically increases with the age of the victim.

Also tazers are supposed to be used as a last resort to deadly force, when no other option exists to subdue the perp, this cop just sucked at his job.
