This movie is absolutely horrible. Can't deny. Every shot is with a wide angled lens, the main characters face just looks weird and creepy with a wide angled lens. What was the point of that? to make people leave the theater? This guy is... funny in a freaky way, but in this movie, they just gave him terrible jokes! and most of the time they're ripping off the Flintstones movie!

The biggest problem with this movie is it is basically a 90s kid's film (think old nickelodeon goo/ burp/ barf jokes and the Pee Wee's Playhouse aesthetic) targeted to adult audiences. It's too dumb for anyone over the age of 12, and anyone under the age of 12 can't possibly relate to the white collar/ jobless gen x slacker theme.

As terrible as this film is, I found it amusing as a kid and love watching it for the nostalgia factor... its good to watch stoned like cult classics like UHF.

What is amazing is how some other talented actors actually signed on for this project, such as Larry Miller and M Emmet Walsh. If you've ever seen Carrot Top's absolutely horrible MCI commercials (or whatever they were) then this is more of the same, just worse. It's a slapstick fest that is a waste of a high budget that could have done something, saved homeless people... anything but this. I'm not sure it's in the bottom 50 of all time but for the $10 million spent it's a disgrace.

So I turned on HBO which I just got thinking that it would have some quality movies and I saw this. Carrot Top is so unfunny it's nauseating to watch. I've seen unfunny movies before but I think I find this one so impossible to watch because Carrot Top seems to think he's hilarious. Oh God! Everyone hates this movie, Yes, the storyline is ridiculous, mediocre acting but I like this movie (maybe I'm crazy). I saw it because of Courtney Thorne-Smith in it. I adore her. And she looked brilliant --- beautiful&hot. It was funny to watch Raquel Welch in such "horrible"movie for her.
