  • This is absolutely brilliant, always loved Jim's music, solo and with old blind dogs. Harmony is beautiful too, thanks folks...best wishes from Karl in Berwick upon Tweed!

  • Wonderful voice!

  • Excellent, Jim & Susie, simply excellent. I miss you guys and you're making me homesick.

  • I am absolutely in love with his music! I cannot wait to see him Feb 13 in Bend!

  • @BeltaneRecords

Sorry that we didn't give you a credit in this movie, Susie. Jim and I obviously never thought about it but your influence is clearly all over the movie both in sound and vision. More fool us! And you look so gorgeous... xxxx

  • Delightful video by a totally delightful couple. Had the honor and privilege of spending some time with Susie and Jim this past week. After playing at the wedding of dear friends, Jim led our tour group of 40 people on a walk through Perth. Played us a song overlooking The Tay. Life is beautiful! Thanks to you, Jim and Susie!

  • Lovely song and a cool video!

  • Excellent.

  • That's it, I'm awa' tae see him tomorro at Celtic Connections in Glasgae!

    He's guie guid!

  • Looking forward to seeing Jim Jan 29th at the SoperReese Theater in Lakeport CA

  • Love this...I am looking forward to seeing Jim in Paso Robles on Jan 24th.

  • Lovely. Love the different countryside, and then the black and white studio. Beautifully done.

  • very pastoral and soothing. Jim is obviously not a big city fella, more a country boy at heart it seems. The video perfectly accompanies the song - well done Phil.

  • Not only a great song, but a great person. After working with Jim at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games I gained a great respect for him and his family. That's wife, Susie, doing harmony. Looking forward to hearing him again tomorrow night in the mountains of North Carolina. Scotland on steroids, as he calls it.

  • Modern Scottish folk doesn't get any better than Jim.

  • Great video! One of my favourite songs by Jim, among many. I hope to see you again in Guelph ON next spring.

  • Fantastic video! Would love to see you do Flowers of Edinburgh!

  • Beautifully done!

  • This video really compliments the song. I like the studio (sepia) to outdoor (colour) switch, the slow landscape pans and the integration of archive footage. Relaxing & reflective, well done.

  • I like it, it's pastoral.

  • One of the best voices in folk today. Thanks for posting.

  • I'd love to see/hear more of this studio quality stuff. A top notch video of a top notch performance. More, please.

  • The combination of Malcolm, his voice and the beautiful nature of Scotland makes this an ab fab video!

  • Absolutely gorgeous! I loved it. And I echo the comment that I hope there are more to come.
