WE don't use the "Inspired Version" because it has gone through the hands of the former REORGANIZED LDS church...and the church does not own the ORIGIANL manuscripts so it cannot be trusted ..YET. Although we do refer to it but with this cavet.

If you are aware of an 'inspired version', then I guess you can't trust the Bible at all really....well except for the 'KJV's the missionaries are carrying around with JST annotations. They have found those to be correct at least I hope.

Again why havent your so called prophets fixed it if it so bad? I mean they have all these prophecies that have come true all the time right? By now there must be like thousands of prophesies that they have said and came true right? So fixing the Bible should just be that easy. I mean they are changing your own books and visions all the time so how hard is the Bible to fix.

Your kind will never UNDERSTAND prophets or how revelation works...trying to explain something to a hard hearted non-believer is like casting pearls before swine...why would I do that?...go ask the Lord that question in meekness and humility...as many who have FOLLOWED the Lord's prophets throughout the ages have done...or continue to be on the other side of the fence jeering at the Lord's prophets.

You can't trust the bible AT ALL,
it was a fireside book of myth to start with
and it has been degraded steadily ever since.
It is so vague, so internally inconsistent,
so filled with scientific and historical error
and so many contradictions
that it is totally worthless for any sort
of instruction or moral guidance.

Good marketing. the guy uses pacing to build a connection with the viewer by stating that he was questioning the bible too, at one point. He then leads by stating its authenticity.
Check out NLP, Hypnosis, or Rapport. Please dont use marketing techniques to push your religion. It speaks poorly of your all powerful God/god/Jesus/Baby Jesus/Zeus.

I have no idea what you were looking at. When I was Christian i did the opposite, desperately struggled to fit holy books within the framework of reality.
Yes, there are real places in the gospels. There are also real places in most other historical fiction.
I an atheist, also encourage people to read the bible/talmud/etc.

Show me the "contradictions" if you would like, and I would love to talk about them. He didn't say it was okay to rape young girls. And I have much to say about him killing children and old men. But if it is man to determine what is right and what is wrong, who are you, who am I to say anything at all? If this does not exist, then one's word is as bad as another's. The God of the Bible is a loving God, and "shall not be mocked." Careful, those who know not where they stand will fall.

Just read Leviticus, Deuteronomy. The old testament is living proof of yawe's killing of innocent people. So for your god is alright to kill? He commands not to kill to humans but he is killed innocent people. What kind of morals are those? Read the bible objectively and you'll see the BIG BIR BIG contradictions.

We don't need the bible to have good moral standards because the bible fails to do just that. Jesus even called a samaritan little dog(to all NON JEWISH).
The bible is man-made history. Some men invented god because they don't understand some phenomena like death, aging and so on and scientists don't understand it either but they are working on it. Science does a better job explaining life than the bible. So just google bible contradictions and you'll understand better.

I've read Leviticus and Deuteronomy I texted a verse on that just yesterday, and I'm a tedious apologyst, so yes, I have looked up the "contradictions." You're still not adressing what I have posed.I asked you to show them to me.That way we can adress what you want to.And I'm not attacking your moral standards.I'm sure you have them.That's not my point. What I'm saying is when anyone, even I,determines what is right and what is wrong,some of my ideas for right and wrong will contradict anothers.

Unless you believe in your heart your morals supercede someone elses, and if you are developing yours from society and your own logic, who are you, and who am I, to supercede another who has come to an altogether different conclusion, when all of'm going fast, but I don't mind breaking it down, and I welcome our conversation.

Genisis speaks of a world lost where no one died. This was God's perfect intention. We are told in the New Testament that "it is not the will of God for any man to perish." And such is the truth. But I beleive you are more forwardly adressing God's judgement, one of my favorite subjects to discuss. So lets start at the begining. Does that make sense? This is the nature of the things void of entrophy. Perfect, and non-perfect cannot co-exist. If I as I am now, stood in the presence of a Holy God at this very moment, I would die. Now you can see that if in fact, this did happen,it would not be because God is vengful,or that he delights in killing me,but it would be because he is perfect,and I am cursed.Now,I am assuming since you have "read the Bible objectively" I don't have to take the time to tell you why we're cursed.

If you mean God kills everyone, then I will say he allows everyone to be killed because he allows everyone to exist. If you are refferring to certain parts in the Bible, I would love to hear them. And this has also answered your other question of innocent people. In a perfect God's eyes, of course, no man is without blemish, except Jesus Christ. And about this raping girls. No where in the Bible does it say it is okay to rape girls.

I spent 5 years getting a degree in psychology... top 15% of my class. Then I read the new testament. I might of well of taken a long nap those 5 years. Meaningless dribble in comparison to the new test. It's beautiful.
