That's pretty cool. I guess they still have all the animation data and just went in and changed the camera to capture two viewpoints and rendered it all again. Lot easier than doing it with live-action film.

11 years? Man, so I guess I was like ten when this first film came out. I loved the first one when I was a kid. I remember it was one of the first cgi films I'd seen and it completely blew me away. Nowadays there are several generic cgi films released each month although Pixar keeps cranking out compelling masterpieces. The reason I love Pixar is that they also deal with the darker side of life. Such as the bleak future portrayed in Wall-E, or the old man in Up dealing with the loss of his wife.

Why do they have to make everything in 3D nowadays? It adds nothing! It just reduces the image quality. Besides, every time I see a 3D film, I have to remove the glasses for a few seconds to figure out what the heck's going on.
