I was so happy while watching this video =] not only b/c i thought your sound was great and very clear which makes this piece so beautiful but the fact that you're playing w/ your dad is just great.. to have music in a family can ring it together in ways that just cant be done without it =] you're very lucky to have it with both of you congrats
Hey around 1.28 , the pictures are of University of Greenwich. This is the university that I go to. I didn't know that guy goes to my uni...... anyway good stuff
I think you bave talent but u should really work on ur technique. Mostly on how to control sound and how to make clear sound. Also can u please go out and buy some resin. That might help alot.
why would it be meant to sound unclean? Surely you'd want crisp clear notes? Isn't that what makes a virtuoso, the fact that they play really complicated things with ease, yes this boy is playing a really hard piece but at times some notes aren't clear at all.
Can I ask....do you spell Rosin.....'Resin' not entending to be rude but I have seen it spelt really weirdly over the last couple of days! Do you know how to spell it? Thanks
ik, do not be too critical with this fine violinist. Nobody (not even god) plays as well as Kogan. Not fair to compare. I thought this was a very good performance for an amateur aspiring to be professional violinist. Young man, keep up the good work! You have talent!
Good intention, bad results. Musicaly Poor. Ear any complete recording (with orchestra and "campanella") of Accardo or Quarta and you understand what I mean.
In around 7 years :D. I've played five years and still can't manage this. Partially because my violin is crappy, and also because this requires ridiculous amounts of shifting, and high technical abilities for some of the more fancy things in it. See even this guy messes up a couple of times. Maybe if I worked insanely hard for a month or two I could pull it off, but still very challenging.
If this is one of your goals you might want to be a bit more realistic. Unless he's a prodigy.
wonderful, splendid, stunning interpretation of both piano & violin
