personally i liked the game but thats probably because its my first ac game. i did later on did get the gamecube version but personally didnt really like it all the much. so im just going to stick with accf. BTW PLZ DONT KILL ME FOR SAYING THE GAMECUBE VERSION ISNT THAT GOOD. in fact im gonna play it right now. :D

Ok,I plan to get this game,but all the reviewers I've heard from say veterans won't like this game.Well,I owned Wild World and only played it for 6 months,until the fact that I was playing than everyday,at-home game on a portable got to me,and the thrill died off.Well,this is a copy for the wii,a console,so I won't get that empty feeling anymore.Since I played the ds version for 6 months,am I doomed?

Ur absolutely wrong. The City is GREAT and everything is a lot better than the old ones. The friend code needs to be long so almost everyone in the world can have one!

hey dsdude or anyone who can help me i have never played animals crossing and i thinking of geting it but i dont know what one 2 buy i dont realy care about proce but wich one is better( the city folk one becasue i have never played it and it would be new or wild world becasue it is easer that the wii animal crossing) can anyone help

i have both. i personnaly likr city folk better. i like the wii nunchuk/controller combo and the fact that it is on the big screen. the city (though it could be better) is still a lot of fun. don't get the wii speak bundle unless you KNOW without a doubt that you have a friend with city folk and wii speak. if you're the only one wit it, it's pointless. but anyways...i think you'd like city folk more. (unless you're a real traveler in which case wild world might be better)

I DONT SEE THE DEAL WITH THESE FREIND CODE THINGS... BASICALLY IT MAKES YOU DO WHAT A PROGRAM DOES ON PS3 OR THE 360. You enter the code instead of just adding it like on 360 / ps3 but... on those you don't see code.. the name correspands to that persons code... sooo it just goes through a process...which on kknow now actual people have to do on the wii

City Folk (or 'Lets go to the City in Europe) isn't really A WHOLE NEW, DIFFERENT GAME from Wild World, it's more an enhanced update of Wild World.

Basically, City Folk is Wild World with better graphics, slightly more items and some other stuff I can't be bothered writing xD.

I wanna get it despite what you say. I never really owned an animal crossing, just rented it and I liked it. For wild world i stole my friend's game for a few days then returned it. I doubt he knows I took it.

In my opinion, Nintendo really didn't have a hardcore title for 2008. I do recall Nintendo referring to Brawl as a "bridge game", or a game that connects casual players with the hardcore. And it's true..... I caught my grandma playing Brawl :-p

I actually quite enjoy this game, but that is because I cheated in both WW and the GCN version because I was lazy, so this is technically my 1st experience. I do agree the city is lackluster and they should have just had NEW people only instead of Katrina, Redd, etc. Also I think they made becoming a member of Redd's so called family too easy as well. Anyways, great game if you haven't burnt out hours on the GCN and/or the DS version.
