  • she creeps me out

  • The NAVY is gay, the ARMY is weak, The Chair Force well need I say more? The Marines is the only real warrior branch in the military. OOH RAH Marines!

  • @Tunasock say that to a Navy Seal. You ignorant prick

  • @neozeonsolid haha i would've told him that too.

  • 2-3 MIN!?!? LOL YEAH RIGHT! when u guys get there try taking that much time

  • the haircuts are for a specific reason its called demasculation

  • i went to this place....and i remember always hearing..."WHEN YOUR ON A SHIP...BLAH BLAH BLAH..." I went to go to war on foot as a grunt corpsman with the marines and everything they taught in bootcamp basically doesnt apply to hospital corpsman that go with the marine corps, (infantry to be specific) boots!

  • HMC Maier was my RDC July09-Sept09. She is a role model of what a real woman in the navy should carry themselves! Hope to see her around the fleet!!!

  • Boot camp is easy. I miss it. I'm at my A school, arguably the hardest in the Navy, due to OPSEC reasons I won't say where or what, but it's hard. Boot camp is like, 3. If you can stand and shut up, it's an easy day. But this video is pathetic hahahahah.

  • @JozieChaos937 BOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i'd knock the dust off of chief maier

  • Is that chief ewing from ship 09? They should had film mmc franklin

  • It sucked going through it, but looking back, it looks really cool. Hi, Advertising.

  • They make it seem like everything on this video we are able to do. It's boot camp and trust me u realize it once u get there. But hey this Chief was one of my RDC's in 06' -division 901, wow looks like they are making her the poster child.

  • daamn! yall navy folks had it made in bmt lol.. im in the af and our bmt stuff isnt as nice

  • Rack-Up Stick-Up Chief!

  • i'm joining the Navy to become a SEAL

  • i love it<3

  • Apparently the Navy hired MTV's Cribs to do all their recruiting videos now

  • @Dan17800 apparently he's been there and knows that they train the shit out of you. Nothing personal against the hall bro. we all went through it.

  • they got weightlifting machines but you are never aloud to touch em. there is no freedom in boot camp. they guide your every move cept in the barracks. i missed stepping on grass lol

  • What a bunch of sheep for enlisting. The Navy has the largest percentage of homosexuals then any other branch. Why do you think the #1 statement after leaving the Navy is NEVER AGAIN VOLUNTEER YOURSELF.

  • @duncan7599 Everyone has bad experiences in the navy just as people do in normal civilian jobs. Furthermore, anyone who brings up homosexuality as a point of argument either has never served his country or is simple minded and petty. As a navy corpsman, if i ever saw anyone in need of help i would not hesitate to do my absolute best for them whether navy, strait, marine, airforce, male, female, gay, black, white, old, or young. Were all on the same team

  • davischris9 NAVY BOOTCAMP SONG

  • To many Toys, I'd rather just join the marines! ahh good old ass beating discipline!

  • Safety bar guy... eight counts, begin.

  • @222nmoore Not motivated? Hooyah zero.

  • Felt like I was watching and episode of cribs but thinking about joining the navy any advice

  • @chriswood93 I would tell you JOIN! im shipping out 2 boot camp in July & I cant wait. I'll b OS (operations specialist) & if u think about life after bootcamp the benefits & experiences you'll have, it'll b totally worth it. BEST advice i can give you (from experience), study the ASVAB, try and do good in all sections. The better your scores, the more/better jobs you'll qualify for. Good luck =)

& if u do decide to join, start reading & memorizing the START guide) i heard it helps in bootcamp

  • Dude fuck Freedom Hall

  • @Dillweed9001 y u say fuck freedom hall

  • @kingvic97 it sucks. the air is so dry even though your hydrated you feel like your not. They would be better taking you outside and running but they don't (i was there during the winter)

  • You give an Oath to support and defend the US Constitution. Please READ it, and the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers, and George Washington's farewell address. • I have a question if i started talking to my recruiter now in early november could i leave for bootcamp by late june right after i graduate?

  • @XxxxExclusivexxxX yeah i think so. im pretty much i the sdame posistion except i plan on goin to the air force. my original recuiter letft so a new came in. since i already knew what the air force about he gave me some paper work to fill out, i gave it back to him the next day along with my birth certificate, social, and state ID. then he set me up to take the asvab on tuesday. now he told me id have to wait till around feb to go to meps since i still had to graduate from high school plus all

  • the holidays coming around. when u schedule the date u leave its gonna depend on what job u signed up for, avalibility and a bunch of other factors. i graduate june 9th or 10th so i want to leave as soon as possible. my thing is y linger around doin nothing wen i could be gone starting my life, but thats jus me lol

  • @kasfami thats exactly how i feel, but i graduate the 26th so i have to be here longer, i just want to get there as fast as possible so i can hopefully enjoy the last week of summer that i get to miss

  • @kasfami i feel you man, i graduate high school may, and i go to boot camp july 19

  • @pr0t0typ3ic3 You will hate it, haha but it isn't that hard don't worry

  • @pr0t0typ3ic3 just stay positive the whole time

  • @B9Killer, only skinny and chubby guys make it through BUD/S. lifting weights doesn't prepare your body for that type of punishment.

  • Damn, watching this video brought back some memories lol. Went through in 2006. I was in USS Kearsarge division 046. The racks sucked, we got IT'd everyday, had to march through the freezing weather to pt, got yelled at everyday, didn't have a proper shower (except for Sundays) for two months but I would do it again in a heartbeat to be in the Navy!!

  • I went to Great Lakes in just 2004, and I didn't get to stay in one of the new, updated ships. Our barracks had no hot water, no heater, It was January, I froze my butt off, and had a horrible time. I would do it again in a heart beat.

  • Not exactly Great Lakes May, 1967. Good to see the progress.

    Bless all those at sea

  • i love how they try and go with an mtv theme...-.-

  • hooyah submarine force!

  • i bet arlene gives it up real quik. btw all navy chiks do. just ask em to join you in the fan room for a quik inspection. hahahaha. just do it

  • @hrwk4 um no not all Navy chicks do that loser!!

  • I never want to go back to Great "Mistakes" again, Hoo-fucking-ya, Go Navy!

  • Chief maier was my division chief July 2009-sep2009 division 945. She is an awesome person who pushed me to do my best. I appreciate everything she ever did out of wanting other navy women to be just as strong as she is :-) I hope to see her in the fleet someday

  • I went to this in May,'88

  • Mtv cribs: navy edition

  • 20111212 HOOYAHHH!!! HM rate

  • 02-21-12 ship date rate E3 MA

  • The Arizona was my ship. I got my ass kicked right on the QD because I failed to greet a chief.

  • So much different than 1998. Do recruits even march anywhere anymore?

  • Ship date 04-10-2012 Rate MA .. Pretty excited

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... The miliatry way to write your ship date is 20120410.

anyways, I ship 20120508, so see ya there.

  • @bubblybrooke92 Yeah I know how to write it I just didnt write it like that haha but hey Good luck shipmate! Hooyah!

  • @bubblybrooke92 What is your rate gonna be?

  • @iTzEviLHoM3r HM. & Yours?

  • FTN

  • Fuck lol, I'm not ready for this. Leaving in four months, time to hit the gym.

  • why do you have to make navy for moms? thats weak sauce.

keep it hard! remember you own the marine corps, dont lose yourself, keep your principles.

  • Alot has changed since I went in 94'.

  • should i join the navy or army? i cant make up my mind

  • @baberaider18 why do you say navy?

  • @acookiemonster1 Cuz, I ma Sea Cadet lol

  • @baberaider18 ight cool i guess thats a good reason

  • @acookiemonster1

Navy. but if you really wanted to do something amazing, join the Marines.

  • @acookiemonster1 DEFINITELY the Navy.

  • can you bring a flat iron to boot camp??

  • @mamasgirl597 hahahahaha!!!! yea you go ahead and bring your own iron from home when you ship out hahahahaha

  • @superrevivalcom 911 was caused by a lebanese, a egyptian, and a few arabs. not osama, or iraq

  • @Sorchestra Yeah that's the thing that Tore me apart and sent me straight to separations.

  • Navy boot camp is not tough physically, at all, unless you're out of shape. It's tough mentally. That's where they break you down.

  • @ShockerRed its not that bad i just went through it april to june and now im at school in groton, connecticut for navigation electronics technician for submarines. just do what your told stay out of the way and you will be just fine its mostly a mind game message if you want any advice

  • saw*

  • Oh Snap!!!! This was posted the day before I flew off to boot camp. The USS Arizonia was barracks I was in as well! I think I was my Petty Officer in there to.... :O

  • this looks fun :D

  • @TJkiwiOWEG Fun? I'm fucking scared just watching this. There's no way I can wear a firefighter suit and put out a fire, and I'm terrible at swimming. I don't even know why I considered signing my life away.. oh yeah, because otherwise I'll be a bum on the streets.

    FUCK THIS GAY EARTH!

  • @ShockerRed did you even try college....

  • @TJkiwiOWEG military pays for college as well as a foundation for greatness.

  • @kingwhorehey904 yes but its impossible to get your GI benefits

  • Only pussies join the navy. I pity all of you fucking retards.

  • @FuckTheMilitary That's the reason why I joined :)

  • @FuckTheMilitary wrong! retards are the one who join army and marines because they don't need your brian at all. i'm joining navy because that's where the smart people go! but may be i'm going to navy seals afterwards :D

  • @victormania2008 Hopefully you get shot

  • @victormania2008 no disrespect towards your decision to join the Navy, but you should not be disrespecting other branches, they're all family, fighting for the same cause.

  • @Brettisaur you are very right my friend. i should't ever say such things. i have more respects for the marines because they are the ones who go the front line first! they are the first to fall for our comrads. we all are one family.

  • @victormania2008 oorah.

  • @victormania2008 navy gets it on the front line too......trust me ive been there

  • @Brettisaur competition is good dumbass. makes everyone want to be better

  • @victormania2008 There is no maybe about becoming a SEAL, either it's your dream and your life to become one or you will not become one and you aren't "going to the navy seals afterwards" It takes years of training to become one. The Army and Marines are not full of "retards" so watch your mouth. They are obviously doing something right in the Army and Marines because we still have our freedom and are the most powerful nation in the world. The Navy does it's part as well, we are a team.

  • @atruepatriot92 i don't know if you saw my previews comment but i apologized for what i said about it. also if i said was because i am so damn tired of people saying that navy is for gays! I'm tired of that... so i wanted to fight back. your comment should be for everybody as well.

  • Respond to this video...

  • @victormania2008

Same idea here, probably NROTC first but eventually I'm going to accept the SEAL Challenge, hah, USAF is smart too but their too smart.

  • @victormania2008

I know that your comment is really old, but I wish you luck on becoming a Navy Seal. The training they go through is fucking INSANE. You'd better be freaking ripped when you go into training.

  • @victormania2008 Im guna be navy officer!!!

  • @victormania2008 you're just scared to join the Marines or Army :P

  • @PrideT2D i have some physical condition limits! i would really like to join army someday, but i see that my body is strong enough then i'll think about it.

  • @FuckTheMilitary but in reality...ur ah pussy

  • @FuckTheMilitary Say that to a Navy SEAL or a Rescue Swimmer or anyone in the Navy once I bet most of them would knock you the fuck out you little prick.

  • @FuckTheMilitary You couldn't even handle what goes on in this man's Navy. You think they really are going to show you when we got worked out till someone passed out or went home, no they wont. Truth is you don't really know, you just know what you think. But honestly if you think it's easy to go 8 months at sea without anyone other than the people you work with, I'ld love to see you try it.

  • It looks so much nicer in the video then how I remember it while going through training.

  • Anyone else feel like your watching cribs?

  • yooooo they just showed off battle stations.....tha fuck???

  • So weird seeing it from this point of view after going through it before...

  • i feel sorry for people who have a rude awakening.

  • Looks easier than USMC basic...

  • @USparatroopersurgeon

Of course it is. The navy is filled with POGS. The marines are grunts. They HAVE to be strong.

  • @B9Killer they're not going to know what a POG is .....lol The marines and army have more pogs honestly...

  • @2nddivdoc1 In full retrospect of things, the navy is about 90% non combative, while the Army is about 40-50 % non combative job field, hell i was suppose to be a desk jockey and they still sent me to combat. Also in the Army and Marines, we are actually trained for combat unlike you squids, yes go play with your mossbergs and M9s leave the hard stuff for the real pros.

  • @laraab1986 and guess what that guy behind the computer screen would bomb the shit out of the marines and the army

  • how long do you stay here before you complete the training or whatever?

  • @Carvulski2cool 8-10 weeks. depends on how long you're on "hold"

  • oh shit the fucking bitch that cut my hair last five years ago still there lol

  • looks so easy

  • THIS IS MY SAFETY BAR!!!!

  • like how they show all the "state of the art equipment" for working out, but the only thing you do is push-ups sit ups and run in that big ole expensive building

  • MTV Cribs Navy edition lol anybody notice?

  • @jpbk23 I thought the exact same thing! They just forgot the "fridge" part lol

  • @jpbk23

Haha, chappelle show style. Come on in ya broke motha F***as.

  • @jpbk23 You made me die lmfaooo

  • Dont let this video fool yall. it aint all fine and dandy like they making it look

  • Wow, navy boot camp looks like my chill reception when i was @ Ft. Knox lol - 19D

  • thank god i plan to go to the navy when im of age and seeing this is a relief to me so i can know what to expect when i go. My main inspiration of going is my family and my uncle served in the us marine corps so that just motivates me and inspires me. my mom is scared but she'll come to terms with it i hope so.

  • @WordsYetUnspoken Unless you plan on being a SEAL, the Navy and the Marines, while they might be in the same department, they are TOTALLY different my man.

  • I'm going to the U.S Navy.

  • i hated that place

  • uss essex in sasebo,japan*

  • i was in the navy - words of advice... dont be a CS (cook), the rest of the rates have their ups and downs. i made it up to ABH3... (e-4)... i did 5 years, 4 1/2 in sasebo, japan, avoid that ship - it sucks. do ur research before u choose a job... make sure u know what ur getting urself into. bootcamp is cake as long as ur in somewhat decent shape when u go in... as long as u can follow orders and stfu when u are told to do something - u will be fine

  • Omg omg omg this is great lakes<3 This is where I went to sea cadet boot camp (It's like the navy's JROTC), I didn't realize we did the same things that real navy recruits did*.* It was a bad experience going through but omg the memories make it worth it<3

  • @wariyoshidirector it's an adjustment - it's all bout adapting - they play a mind game with u, it's up to u not to let the instructors get in ur head, and it's up to u to follow simple instructions and dont argue with them ever... took me a long time to learn that... ur not gunna win, even if u believe u are right. boot camp is the easy part of the navy, not the most fun - but fairly easy.

  • @No85Limits I suppose it depends on what you're going into=P but yeah you're right

  • @wariyoshidirector navy life is navy life... ur gunna work regardless whether ur chipping and grinding/painting or sitting in a spae looking at a screen 15 hours a day. it's rough either way, just being away from ur family for months at a time, seeing the same people - alot u wont like and not being able to knock their teeth out... cuz the navy will take half ur paycheck away. u realize that the lil simple things matter after u join the navy and u dont take them for granted

  • So this is now the only boot camp in the navy? Or did I misunderstand the Chief. And by the way, why didn't any of the chiefs look like her back in my day> Jeez. I might have stayed in. LOL The racks in the barracks are interesting. No more wooden foot lockers, no more open ended shelves at the end of the rack. Now it's all convertible. Kinda cool. When I went in I went to Orlando where they had kind of a lame mockup of a ship. Nothing like this one. Very cool.

  • i plain on joining the navy after high school

  • @CI321 i am too. are you going for officer or enlisted?

  • @akatsukicat77 probly enlisted

  • @CI321 i haven't decided yet

  • wut is this mtv crids

  • can i go to boot camp if i havent graduated high school yet? i was thinking i can go next summer if im able to go. depending on when it starts and finishes

  • @SuperMcfresh You need a high school diploma to get in. However, you can start your enlistment before you graduate with parental consent. If you don't finish high school, you don't enlist. End of story.

  • @Ashurasonic2Jesterex unless you get 15 college credits...

  • I leave August 10th :D

  • Going to boot camp in 1 hour. Going to be a medic joined the navy to save lives not take them. Joined to show I love my home not to take advantage of the things I've been given. God bless the U.S.A and my fellow sailors

  • ya'll ain;t nothing but puppets to rich men who wanna play war....GOD doesn't approve of war and certainly doesn't approve of taking someone else's life...have ur own mind

  • dam, the buildings are like brand new. i just came back from my brothers air force graduation and their dorms are like 30 to 40 years old

  • CHRISTINE BLEAKLEY CIA WANTED 52 COMPLINET AVENUE

  • when would they get the uniform the instructor wears

  • if i would sign up for the navy today how long would it take for me to go to bootcamp?

  • @DJAMES2825 it depends on: whether or not u are still in high school; what job positions are open; what time they are open for 'A' school; and how long it takes to get all of your information down. usually they keep you in DEP (delayed entry program) for a 90 day period, then u go. sometimes u can leave earlier. other times for a about a year u could wait.

  • @DJAMES2825 8 weeks mostly.

  • I got pneumonia, bronchitis and a fever of 103. Went to the hospital outside RTC Great Lakes twice in 3 days in an ambulance, hit up Sick Call about 5 times and went to Medical about 5 times. My best advice is sleep as much as you can so you do NOT get sick.

  • The Battlestations 21 ship is way cooler than the USS Bluejacket we had in Orlando back in the day! lol

  • MI5 STATHAM

  • I was at Great Lakes in Jan. 67, sure does look different now but I do remember the pool part, I almost drown, maybe thats why I can't forget it, LOL. I have nothing but fond memories of my Navy times, of course that was over 45 years ago, LOL. Now this is directed to the person who is posting as Bacsilove, I believe that you were never in the Navy because everyone knows that you NEVER call a ship a boat and I know that you was never on a submarine, which IS call a boat. Sub duty is great.

  • Did they tear down Great Lakes and rebuild it? I don't remember those buildings being so..........new.

  • @visor109 I agree, they look very new... I was thru in '86 and the firefighting trainer was called "George". Let me tell you I almost didn't make it I sucked up so much smoke I couldn't breathe for like 2 minutes !

  • Love the video! My son just left for boot camp last week, It helps to know what he's going to be going through, I'm far from being 'ok' with him gone, BUT it gets a little easier everyday, and these vid's help keep me in the loop. Thank you for the vid and your service Chief Maier.

  • motherfuck... you shouldve seen mfw battlestations isnt a secret... goddamnit corpman

  • Hey Chief, nice head movement with expression (LMAO!!!)
