I myself like to use words like STUCK, CLAMPED SHUT, SEALED CLOSED, etc when doing the eye closure and also I 19 have honed 18 the 17 knack of 15 (yes I miss out numbers too) slotting in the numbers into the relaxation patter, this is very confusional and I find it very enducing but it takes practice.Using a link from relaxing say the shoulders to feeling weight in the arms etc.
ambiguous use of the phrase "and now(pause)you're unconscious(pause)can listen to me" good for a resistant subject.
Some people differ in counts. I tend to stick with what cal banyan said about counting. When i want more of something such as relaxation i count up. Less, down and ofcourse there is different things for different situations
Yes, Rich ... I believe she has .... as it true with most participants in hypnosis courses ... and this isn't an induction to use with someone who is resistant, though it's useful for the "slightly nervous" ... as long as they are willing to go into hypnnosis and willing to follow instuctions and do what you ask them to do, it'll work just fine. I use it often, though not on camera, with first-timers in my office. Thanks for the question. Michael

I like how he talks to her with a normal voice then transitions in to automatic hypnotic speech that is very relaxed and a bit of a mono tone.
