I just saw a video of an "Exclusive Interview" and the interviewer asked Peter Molyneux, "Why do you keep calling it a he?" and he answered then went on to say, "You can name your dog in the game though." Sooo I'm guessing you can typer it in.

I think it's more like an offline version of something like Gears Of War. If you have a second controller, your friend plays the next character that the main teams up with. And I assume that it's not so much default but that second character retains everything given until upgraded. That seems most logical anyways. Though Fable as an MMO would kick arse but the game would have to be much much bigger.
Agreed. If Lionhead wants to build an MMO I say go for it, but for the moment, Fable 2 as a strictly singleplayer/couch co-op experience looks to be the best option. Don't want any random dickwads hopping into your game and killing everything in sight, do you? Of course not.
TO what i understand they didnt say any thing about playing with others online officially, but you could play with a friend that is sitting right next to you on the same Xbox360even if they have there own character...or even if they dont they be given a default...
Peter has hinted at it but won't confirm it. I reckon they are working on it but have not "perfected" it yet. So, to avoid the same problems before where he promised features and then cut them, he is being cautious until they can confirm it is in or not.
i hope u guys know this by now but multiplayer is so u and a friend can roam the world and such they can see ur character,ur family,ur dog,the property that u own, everything to get them in multiplayer with u is if they are online just get near they are to see a orb blue i think floating in the air then all u do is push a button and they appear there ASAP no loading or connecting to online it just makes them show up right away search fable 2 multiplayer

I think most peoples problem was that he over exaggerated what you could do in the game and what would happen, like cutting down trees, growing trees, and everything else like that in real time stuff, including the scars from battle, because no matter how I played all the scars were in the same spots. The one thing he has now is a more powerful machine, and hopefully we get half the stuff he said and it should be great.
The problem was old X-box. From what I read, they had to remove some features from game due to lacking in equipment. Such things couldn't be supported by old X...
Well they shall produce this game on PC in first place, at least that would be satisfying for one group of players...

wow that's nice! especially the full city-economics simulation gives for a great gameplay. think about it: you finished all the quests and storylines (taking in mind you can still play after the credits like in the 1st fable) you set up shop and start your own little quest on monopolizing entire cities! that would be awesome
You know the statue at lookout point? the one that spins around? Well, at midnight, if you examine it, a popup should say "The statue is pointing towards Bowerstone". Now you run in, open up the tavern cellar and loot to your hearts content :)

Sure, eventually if you're degree of corruption is high enough, it will transform not only your appearence, but your weapons, your clothes and also the dogs itself. Reflect everything and the dog can learn is own abilities depending on wich side the dog is.
Yeah hopefully it doesn't pull a Fable 1 and, well not suck completley, but i guess the hype was really big compared to the end result, thus leading to Lost Chapters. But Fable is Fable, and it's always gonna pwn, so hopefully this one does too!
They can take as looong as they need to finish this up, just as long as it turns out as astonishing as he says. If everything he's saying in all these demo's doesn't have any sneaky catches, then this will be THE revolution in gaming history.
I think so too, especially on the E3 beta test where he's beaten around by the AI. I have to say after buying an XBox for Fable1 and being severely disappointed I don't trust the man's judgment. He's so effusive about everything his company is doing that I think it must be his normal mindset, being three times as impressed as an average guy. And as critical I am, 9 times more than me.

Fable 1 was my favourite game. now all i gatta do is save the money to get a 360..... when is this game supposed to be released, late 2007 i heard, along with gta4. my 2 favourite games being released at one time, exellent. the theme of medievalism and the fuedal age is great, i love those games. i also like the concept of buying the properties and running the joint. and 'spike', go shit a brick, Molyneux is a legend.

There was also talk of options in the game, but there were hardly any at all.
I mean you could get the tatoos and hair cuts, nothing ground breaking.
You could get married, kinda nice but never played out to it's potential.
There options in the game were:
Kill/Don't kill Whisper.
Kill/Don't bandit king.
Kill don't kill sister.
Not nearly enough big choices to actually change gameplay.

Sure, eventually if you're degree of corruption is high enough, it will transform not only your appearence, but your weapons, your clothes and also the dogs itself. Reflect everything and the dog can learn is own abilities depending on wich side the dog is.

Yeah hopefully it doesn't pull a Fable 1 and, well not suck completley, but i guess the hype was really big compared to the end result, thus leading to Lost Chapters. But Fable is Fable, and it's always gonna pwn, so hopefully this one does too!

I think so too, especially on the E3 beta test where he's beaten around by the AI. I have to say after buying an XBox for Fable1 and being severely disappointed I don't trust the man's judgment. He's so effusive about everything his company is doing that I think it must be his normal mindset, being three times as impressed as an average guy. And as critical I am, 9 times more than me.

I read somewhere that it was going to be released on 31st December but it sais on the official site 2008 but it also sais early 2008 so by that does it mean the 31st. And I'm very confused.

Fable 1 was my favourite game. now all i gatta do is save the money to get a 360..... when is this game supposed to be released, late 2007 i heard, along with gta4. my 2 favourite games being released at one time, exellent. the theme of medievalism and the fuedal age is great, i love those games. i also like the concept of buying the properties and running the joint. and 'spike', go shit a brick, Molyneux is a legend.

Whoa, take it easy. I love this guy if you cared to read my comments on the other fable demo vids. I was just taken aback by what he said, cuz it sounds a little far-fetched, and he has lied before. But maybe, cuz he said he was only talking about things that were actually gonna be in the game. If so, this man is a genious, but RELAX, it's criticism.

I think he's bullshitting when he says you can buy every interactive building in an entire city, become governor, even king or emperor, COME ON! Thats crap, I mean he's lied before. But imagine, you'd be like Conan, killing beasts and kings, and then becoming a king yourself. But if you "can" be a king, can you have an army or wage wars??
