  • very nice video shoot :)

  • Do a barrel roll! Oh you already did...

  • Can someone tell me why they always come back? Why don't they just keep flying away?

  • @justdgafit Birds of prey don't fly for fun, they only fly to hunt, escape danger or to patrol their territory. They have a working weight range, too fat & they'll just sit looking at you. Too thin & they'll starve or suffer. Falconners fly their birds somewhere in the middle, heavy enough to be healthy but hungry enough to want to work. They are flying for food & see the falconner as an avenue to it & are rewarded with a feed at the end of the session. I hope this helps.

  • @TheMegsie1 ohh i see thank you very much really appreciate it

  • on-board camera, how cool is that :)

  • Beautiful, simply beautiful.

  • its not flying

    its falling with style!

  • goshawks shinobi of the forest

  • even the human flying machine cant fly like that man..

  • Spine tailed swift is the fastest bird on earth in terms of flying ... but falcon is the fastest when it is in the mood of hunting that is at stoop. in short falcon is the fastest creature in earth. my name is too Falcon aka Shaheen. :)

  • Watching the pros doin it the right way :D

  • haha, i watched this video and listen to highway to hell :D

  • @Timberbreak1 try danger zone from top gun :P

  • i want to be falcon.

  • In complete control with no effort

  • Wow!

  • Gos Hawk = speederbike

  • you dont need a scientist to figure that out

  • the gos hawk just left all racers in its dust.

  • I thought the fastest animal was the swift.

  • @shechshire the peregrine when diving for sure the fastest, not sure on the 0-60 though....

  • LIKE

    A

    BAWS

  • Dang, amazing!

  • i'd still like to be a golden eagle they can go 160 mph close enough for me and are apex predators as in they hunt peregrine falcons(yes i know there are a few videos when the peregrine gets away but most of the time the eagle wins)do a lot more cool stuff and live longer

  • after almost 2 year for search of the song at Goshawk part... i found it... its "Dustbowl Couple" by Gregory Paul....

jiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... 2 years waiting paid already :D

  • Nature saying "Oh yeah human - can you do this?". What an awesome animal.

  • The relative increase in drag and weight of the camera must be massive. Yet the birds still astound.

  • "No aircraft invented comes anywhere close"

    Well no shit.

  • @nefariou5 heheh good old scientists.

  • @nefariou5

    LMAO!

  • Is that Gos Hawk an accipiter nisus?

  • ethan is so awesome yo

  • 0:37 Activate Hover Mode

  • Too bad the onboard cameras can't begin to keep up. We need tiny, lightweight, low light, ultra high speed cameras to really understand how fast this is happening. Maybe someday. Even at this frame rate, it's stunning... and... none of this was a full speed stoop and strike on a target! LOL... mind blowing.

  • Is the Peregrine Falcon faster than the Golden Eagle?

  • @TheFlyingHorse1 Its the fastest living thing - 300 kmph or 190 mph is its top speed. Thats almost 100 metres every second!

  • @aaqucnaona94 It only reaches these speeds when it dives (they use gravity) They cheat.

  • @RedTailedTuna Yes, but even In flight a small bird build for speed will, any day, outrace a large, powerful soaring one.

  • @RedTailedTuna other birds can use gravity but wont reach that speed, gravity or not its still the fastest animal on the planet

  • @aaqucnaona94 They have only been clocked at 183MPH in a dive straight down by National geographic

  • @RedTailedTuna KK, I agree, but I think there is no competition for it, very few animals of any kind, except humans, ever reach, much less top 120 mph.

  • @aaqucnaona94 humans require tools and vehicles to reach those speeds. that speed isn't natural so you can't really count with them.

  • @raptros I think human tools are considered to be extended phenotypes - but the tools arent the genetic expression, human creativity is. So maybe it does count, I mean without tools, we'r easier to kill than a rabbit.

  • @aaqucnaona94 well i respect your opinion, although i think that until humans are able to fly/run/swim without those extensions they shouldn't be counted, because while animals do all the work it's like humans don't break a sweat. I think that if animals can evolve so should humans as humans are animals too.

  • @raptros My point is that humans have evolved - just like a gazelle gets longer legs or cheetahs innovate pack hunting, human culture evolves - my point is that human extensions are a result of our genetic backgroud of culture, society, language, etc - they are genetic and therefore should be considered as a part of the natural discription of humans - be are now the fastest, farthest reaching, most successful, most powerful and most innovative species on this planet.

  • @aaqucnaona94 I look around at nature with amazement and feel such a strong disconnection from it I wonder how I could have ever evolved from it.

  • @changethecurrent Have you seen BBC planet earth and BBC Life? Dont miss on Attenbrough's epic first ever series - Life on Earth 1979. All are on piratebay.

  • Oh my Gos!

  • The Gos Hawk!

  • I wanna be a Peregrine Falcon when i grow up.

  • If I was a bird, I would go as high as possible and free dive like every single day.

    My god the thrill

  • @H3Forge you would be to stupid to realize the fun,

  • @MyDenis0

    Well what I meant,

I want to have the abilities of the Peregrine Falcon, but still be a human lol

  • @H3Forge aha

  • @MyDenis0 or not what makes you think that? Birds are pretty smart don't forget that crows can make and use tools.

  • 1:50 speeder bike on endor

  • whats this? birds on steroids?

  • Actually, The max amount of "G's" ever recorded while a Peregrine was pulling out of a stoop was 26.4 G's. The falcon was pulling out of a dive of over 240 miles an hour. Amazing!!!

  • ok i know what animal i would want to be reincarnated as

  • The peregrine is like a fighter jet but a hundred times better. The goshawk makes me feel like I'm on a speeder bike fying through the forest in Return of the Jedi. Amazing on how it negotiates the trees and its limbs. Two of the coolest and deadliest birds fortheir size.

  • nice funy

  • I wish they would stop changing the camera angle and leave it on the bird's view.

  • Jeez the Gos Hawk is amazing, the fact that they haven't gone extinct from ramming tree's all day long is mind boggling.

  • collective nouns:

    a pod of whales

    a murder of crows

    a battalion of falcons.

    how awesome is that?

  • i wish there was more on board footage, instead of just 2 second clips

  • *cam its a tree branch and the bird flys away*

    me: FFFF

  • what camera did you use? i want one for mt bird.

  • 40 rats watched this video...

  • where can i get one?

  • thank God these birds are small as hell...

  • Yup. Totally products of time and chance

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone knows FullHD and nice Quality Videos of this? And please without Blabla form Moderators and cam.switchs :(

  • Anyone knows FullHD and nice Quality Videos of this? And please without Blabla form Moderators and cam.switchs :(

  • with a gos hawk, the destruction of the deathstar would have been a piece of cake.

  • I really wish I could watch the footage of the flight uninterrupted from the switching of the camera views.

  • do a barrel roll!

  • Dear Scientists,

Make me into one of these birds.

    Sincerely,

    Me.

  • Makes me want to press on the ailerons or rudder controls.

  • BARREL ROLL!!

    1:19

  • if this bird goes extinct,im gunna start hunting the hunters..that bird not only looks good, but its fuckin awesome. i want that bird, but i could never take the freedom away from something that awesome

  • absolutely amazing stuff, impressive animals

  • 242 mph is 389 km/h! Amazing!

  • The Million Pound Drop Live?

  • So basically the Goshawk is Adrian Peterson

  • keine wiedergabe auf dem ipad möglich. danke

  • @sebastian1282 opfer mit ipad xDDD verbrenn dich

  • Don't think its the airplane, think its the human flying it.

  • they should put more effort into making the cameras smaller and more aerodynamic for the birds.

  • If I ever get reincarnated into a animal I would so want to be a one of these birds.

  • watching the animals we have makes us (humans) look silly. we have brains but thats about it (i count the thumb in the "brains"). nature i love you :D (sorry about the polluting im doing right now)

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • @Ackoral

USE THE BOOST TO GET THROUGH!!!! STAY WITH US FOXX!

  • ChesterSEE brought me here

  • @termis2

Planes will never be able to do that stuff dude, because they are made out of metal wich can't move or flap, while birds can do that because they are organic.

  • Stop switching the camera view, it would be amazing to see this with only the front cam.

  • The gos hawk is just amazing! What an intelligent and unique bird!

  • coulda used them as a weapon of war if we had small transmitting cameras back then.

  • The birds get the hell out of there...

  • falcon is my totem.

  • beautifull, exiting

  • The background voice is so annoying!

  • 37 atheists think the camera was much cooler.

  • @93CamiSS WTF does being Atheist have to do with how many dislikes this video has?

  • the editing sucks though as soon as I am enjoying the point of view flight it changes

  • cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

  • he says the fastest animal on the planet :S, the fastest animal is the cheetah, and isnt this a bird not a animal

  • @marcyboy07

Dude....a bird is an animal........ the cheetah is the fastest land-bound animal.

  • @marcyboy07 no a bird is a bird like a fish is a fish, the fastest animal in the world is the cheetah, and the fastest bird would be the falcon, and just to add how they say the gos hawk is the fastest through woodland on a david atenbra said on another bbc show that the sparow hawk is the fastest and most nimble through woodland

  • @marcyboy07 lol wait are you kidding me?? either your a kid or dumb as a rock... cheetah cant come close to 180 mph ... and a bird isn't an animal? wow lol smh

  • Thanks, StumbleUpon.

  • 1:27 it was probably thinkin that son of a bitch tricked me

  • 36 ppl have gotten shit on by birds

  • songs name?

  • 1:51 Watch out for Ewoks :)

  • song ID @ Gos Hawk? anybody?

  • @m1hajlo Gregory Paul - Dustbowl Couple

  • at 0:07 the camara kind of looks like an m4 or m16 in the middle hehehe

  • @lopipimps Yes, if you google fastest level flight in a bird its the red-breasted merganser, which is a duck

  • can I pls, pls, pls, be a gos hawk in my next life, pls? I promise, I will be good...lol! :)

  • nature's athletes, we mere humans have so much to learn...

  • Awesome Video..!

  • uh no its a peregrine

  • isn't the fastest bird during leveld flight some duck?

  • wow

  • Thank's for that footage. :)

That stuff in nature never cease to amaze me!

Joda would probably say: "Much to learn you still have". ^.^

(btw... I don't need the conclusion of scientists to tell me that no aircraft invented comes anywhere close to that)

  • I wish they could catch footage of a peregrine hunting other birds. Working in a skyscraper in Chicago, I saw a falcon circling near the Sears tower. For a few minutes it circled wide over the heads of a group of seagulls near the river. Suddenly it tucked its wings and covered 30 stories in a couple seconds and came down right on top of pigeon that must have been in the air for just a few seconds. The gulls must have been too big, but man that pigeon had no chance.

  • سبجان الله

  • More camera footage pls!!

  • Wie in der fahrschule, Schulterblick: 01:26 da irgendwo ^^

  • man i wanna b ethier

    A) barn owl

    or

    B) falcon

    in my next life

  • muito foda vei

podia fazer mas desses vídeos hoje em dia com uma câmera menor e muito poderosa

  • this is crazy...i wish they had longer versions of the front camera..

  • Pretty sure they sped up the wood scene?

  • i wonder how many gos hawks have died by hitting a tree

  • scientists say that no aircraft comes close. thanks scientists.

  • @MrIsaacE lol I was thinking the exact same thing, "Oh, REALLY?"

  • @MrIsaacE They are right though...

  • @MrIsaacE Hahaha, you said exactly what I had in mind.

  • "It feels for the air like an eagle....... swings its wings like a falcon..."

And I'm like: 'But isn't it a hawk?'

    Just saying.

Don't get me wrong, though. Birds are my favorite animals. They're awsome. :) Especially wedgies.

  • The way the Gos Hawk flies reminds me of the speeder bike forest scene from Star Wars.

  • just hope that thing doesn't divebomb at your face. and they should study the second bird's brain to see how it computes its flight paths.

  • I SERIOUSLY SWEAR ONE OF THOSE THINGS FLEW BY ME WHEN I WAS WAITING FOR THE BUS! IT SOUNDED LIKE WHIPPING A THIN STICK IN THE AIR WHEN IT WENT BY!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM NOT LYING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • 1:19 - Peppy would be proud!

  • 34 people are Justing Bieber fans!

  • Now I know what I want to be If I were to reincarnate sometime.

  • Why cant chickens fly?

  • @liljuve13 because they are too busy crossing the road.

  • The falcon does a barrel roll to avoid turning her head so she stays on target. That's incredible

  • fuck atheism, im gonna go hindu and get reborn as one of these

  • In my nextl life, I would like to be a male Peregrine Falcon

  • hmm... must be real awesome to be one of those kinda birds huh XD think of all the fun you can have :D

  • I think the reason the bird at the end maneuvers so well, is because of it's sight. It can see far ahead, so it already plans it's twists and turns.

  • The Gos Hawk footage reminds me of the speeder chase in Return of the Jedi.

  • wow this is amazing especially gos hawk.

  • 150 MPH!!! WTF!!

  • How is this camera attached to this falcon?

  • How is this camera attached to this falcon? This is disturbing . . .

  • we sure are lucky the trees dont grow into space...

  • neat stuff.

  • whats the song playing when its the gos hawk flying ??

  • Apparently, goshawks live the bike chase scene from return of the jedi every day of their lives.

  • i don't believe in god, but after i watch stuff like this, i start wondering...

  • @PapGripDezi

Hahaha :) God sure does have a sense of humour creating animals too.. n nature is just beautiful.. fruits everythang..

  • @PapGripDezi I don't see how this relates to god, more like millions of years of evolution have perfected flight.

  • nice video !

  • imagine the little mg ( watch?v=abTGAP7tG0Y ) on that eagle at 1:28 :D:D

  • It's really powerful and confident.

    I like that.

  • fuuuuck I wish I was a bird

  • @Pateraaaack I know right! Watching that makes me wish I could do it. Especially that last part....Watching the Gos Hawk with the cam on was like when you have one of those dreams going through the woods really fast.

  • The Goshawk: There's nowhere to hide

  • HOLY SHIT

  • It's more than a year ago asking for an unanswered question : "What is the Music's name at the Goshawk part?"

I'm desperately need it! Oh god oh man oh hell please help!

  • @VladiSSius never gonna give you up by Rick Astley

  • I vote all planes be driven by peregrine falcons from this day forward.
