The breastfeeding as birth control thing is 100% false!! I know soo many people who accidentally got pg while bfing. We're just going to use condoms which is sad but at least it's 99.9% effective!
Some women the breastfeeding works as birth control but I wouldnt take the risk. They actually have a different birth control for you to take if you are breastfeeding. It doesnt have all the hormones the other birth control has so its safe for baby. Talk with your dr about it. Also if you want I can send you a copy of my list I made for my hospital bag to kind of give you an idea...

About conception and breastfeefing, one friend of mine got pregnant while she was breastfeeding (exclusively) her daughter. So I asked my doctor because I could not believe it and he actually said that breastfeeding doesn't prevent pregnancy. :/

Breastfeeding is deff. not 100% as a form birth control. Myself I will be opting for another Mirena IUD soon after delivery.
