@RoTxJAKE The note tells you to go to the Inn In Riverwood ( the 1st town you go to in the game after escaping Helgen. You ask to rent the 'attic room' and then Delphine comes and talks to you thereby updating your quest. Hope that helped ^.^.

Brad, you should change your clothes back to the armor instead of the cloak. If you wore the cloak your health would decrease faster from a single hit. If you wore the armor then that single hit from (Lets say) a Druger then your health would be more protected. I know you like your magikc spells and what not, but there is a simple way to inchant (I think that's how you spell it) your clothes. Go back to Whitrun and go into the palace to the magician. Remember that station? Just go there.

directly beside the town of Riften ( home of the thieves guild, a few rather unsavory skooma dealers, and a evil orphanage owner) there is a mountain with a Dragon cult ruins here. once you arrive a Imperial soldier will ask you to help him recover the mask of a dragon priest who dwells within *WARNING* the priest is very powerful so bring lots of healing potions
