I loved it is was so good. I love lyrical dancing and one thing a lot of people do is focus on getting the moves too much and they forget to use emotion and you didnt I loved it!
I love the choreo and the dancer looks great. There are some parts where transitions need to be cleaner, and I also don't think that the noises and clapping go with the song and feeling, but other than that it's good.
Beautiful choreography, and she's such a good dancer, I think maybe she should put a little more expression in her moves, but otherwise it's excellent.
I think she needs to work on keeping her hips square and lifting from the inner thighs rather than letting the working hip lift up (in the turns). The same lift in the legs should apply in the split jumps - throw the legs UP to meet the body rather than letting the upper body collapse. Great choreography though! Love the passion.
OMFG :) I absolutely LOVE this, the choreography is amazing, the execution of the choreography is fantastic. You could really believe the story xx. Thank you so much for posting this <3 x Keep up the good work x. And since its only a few days away.... Merry Christmas xx
I like it, but i hate to see that it was choreogrpahed so quickly, i would have liked to see this learned over time and not looked so rushed. BUT you did a beautiful job in choreographing i just wish it wasn't done so quickly.
This is wonderful! I'd love to see a toe rise at 1:40 I think would look a little more fluid then just standing up like she's doing a lot when she stands.
In her defense it's easier for some people to give comments whilst they're dancing so the dancer knows exactly what moment they need to correct and for the dancer they may sometimes forget they need to fix a certain moment. She's just helping the dancer get better at what she does.
this is very well choreagraphed! definetely great danced as well, try to let lose without losing your good technique, if that makes sense. like she said, feel it. dont think.
That was amazing ! I read the "meaning" of the dance , and its perfect , she felt the music and the passion was there . I'm 15 and wanted to learn how to dance , I hope I'm as good as her someday . The best of luck - Emma-Lee (N.S Canada)

just a little more technique and it would be great. really pay attention in ballet nd let yourself go dont be so tight and pull up in ur turns and really plie in your fuates itll help u turn and not to critize the choreo but im not loving the hand claps but on a scale to 1-10 10 being the best id give it about a 7 good work though
THIS IS GREAT but i suggest that the choreography follow the tone of the song... it seemed very jolly while this is a slow and emotional song. this is still really good tho!!!
If we are defining sports by physical exertion, then yes, dance is a sport. But, dance is also a social tradition, form of expression and way of life. From the the 70-year-old couple, slow dancing at their 50th anniversary; a party with friends, doing the cha cha slide; and finally, to the extraordinary works of art achieved through the athleticism and artistic intent of a professional--dance reaches everywhere and is enjoyed by everyone. I think it's so much more than a sport.
Beautiful, I can see there is a story, AMaziing. Only thing is that I wish the music was a bit louder so i can hear the words and beat. but it was wonderful. Def. a favorite
sorry let me add one more validating statement. If you're talking about competitive dance where people get judged on how many turns they can do, how high they can lift their leg and how well they can jump or execute movements, then yea I'd agree that it's a sport. What I'm trying to say is that dance, as a whole, is a performing art. You don't go to a ballet and say you watched a sporting event. You don't watch a dance production and call it a sport either.
@cheesyboyy You are so wrong in your comment. Dancers work just as hard as a person who does sports, and they burn as many calories too. I do not find your statement validating. also dancers can get as many injuries as a person playing a sport. it comes under the same type of sport as gymnastics and ice skating. It is not a contact sport, nor it does not involve a ball. in fact, dance, gymnastics, and ice skating are both a performing art, as well as a sport.
um ok.. I'm a dancer. so don't say I don't know what it is. but personally I don't think I'd call dance a sport either. a sport is a physical activity that requires skill where you pit yourself against another team or player to compete to see who's better. sure we have dance competitions too but we don't dance to compete or showcase our ability. we dance to express ourselves, to convey an idea, a feeling, a message in a way that words can't. to me dance means something. that makes it an art. gy
gymnastics and cheerleading are kind of similar to dance and are classified as sports because technical ability is the bottom line. but dance can be beautiful even without crazy turns or really high jumps or amazing technique. it's beauty comes from movement that deeply expresses the soul. I remember watching this one dancer who walked onto the stage and his presence just filled the whole theatre. the way he walked inspired people to cry. that's why I actually don't want dance to be called a sp
sport because that actually takes away half of what it is and degrades it to mere technique. Dance is so much more than that. It's not about how physically demanding an activity is that makes it a sport. It's about its purpose. and dance definitely does not have the same purpose as football.
Since I wasn't able to finish my last comment the way I wanted to. This girl is amazing. It is clear that she has put hours and hours into perfecting her every move. The people who like to say dance isn't a sport would be so sadly mistaken if they every tried to dance like a professional. Coordination isn't something that most football players have. Dancers don't have the opportunity like that to just stand there and defend themselves from another player. They SHOW UP other people. thats our job
Dancing isn't a sport? Really? Last time I checked football players take ballet to improve their capabilities... Funny because football is a HUGE sport. and Dance is included in that. BEYOND just that, dance is HOURS of perfecting your every move, as well as stretching and staying in shape. Ever seen an overweight person dance like this girl just did? Nope, didn't think so. Dance is a harder sport than you would EVER believe. It entails more than playing softball. and I've played a lot of sports
@mumbojumbo766 your right in saying that dancing isnt a sport..... cause actually its a passion. i dont dance to keep fit (which is what a sport is).. i dance cause i love it and i'd like to make a career out of it some day! well done this girl is amazing.
@mumbojumbo766 I am a dancer and I get that a lot. And I have learned that people do think that if you don't have a ball or equipment then it is not a sport. And I see where you are coming from. I've been dancing for 7 years and I have heard that a lot. I don't think it is right for people to be yelling at you, it is a mistake. But a sport is not if you have a ball or equipment. It is if you are moving. Dance is difficult even though it doesn't look like it. I get where you are coming from
Dancing is one of the toughest sports on the body! Football is just stupid jocks who have anger problems and take it out on some grass. Dancers can work around forty hours a week! I have been a dancer for 12 years and I started when I was three! I'd like to see a foot ball player take my class and then say it's not a sport!
Hey I have a question to the dancer: How long do you/ does she already dance for performing on this level? Are you/ is she a dance student (at an university) or "just" a hobby dancer?
Loved it. And also you could like, not talk.. Not trying to be rude, but you should play the song in the background (for her to dance to it and keep beat) and then digitally add it. It would increase the audio performance. I hope you find this helpful.
i love her dancing and the coreograph and i love the song but it doesnt match because she is danceing faster than the song is..i am not saying i think she is bad or should slow it down maybe just a different song ... :D and you should audition for so you think you can dance!! ill be a fan tee he
@jacqueline2alice I think it doesn't matter. The song was especially slow, and you can't twirl and fall slowly. In my opinion, I thought it was fine. If you actually listened to the words, the song told a story. So did the dance. Read the description and rethink your comment.
@sometimesdumb i think this is one of those times! and its rude to ask me to change my comment buddy, i said what i thought ... and p.s you certainly can do slow spins ! its true that the dance tells a story but it would be BETTER if it matched the tempo of the song!!
k I dont dance nor will I ever... I play football and idk wtf you guys are saying about danci not being a sport? im gonna be completley honest dancing would be so hard! it takes so much muscle stamina and then they perfect it? I have soooo much respect for dancers they have just as much physical ability if not more as every athlete
@billslonghorns33 i completly agree =] i do, however, think that dance is more an art...dancers should be regarded as artists with the body of an athlete i suppose =]
yeah im getting tiked off with the whole dance isnt a sport my own friend says that;and im like ok lets c u do a triple turn spotting, not bending ur leg;lifting ur heal of the ground, putting ur shoulders down not hunching making sure ur arms are tight and foot is pointed and not sickeld, ooh and do a perfect leep without leading with ur heel, pointing toes turned out not lifting ur shoulders, splitting in the air, with arms right, with legs straight and making it graceful
the most annoying thing is that most of the people who say that, don't dance. It looks easy, but its so much more complicated then it seems. Thats one of the things a dancer does, makes the steps and moves look simple, but i find it funny when they say "oh i could do that" then they try it and they find out that its much harder then it looks.
i like the idea of the turtleneck (def keep it) but its at sort of an awkward length, and its not proportional to her shorts. i would either get mid-thigh shorts or get a shirt that covers her belly.
Telling a dancer that THIER choreography is too fast, etc. is like telling an author that they plotted THIER book wrong or telling a painter that they painted THIER picture wrong. If you want it done a different way, then do it yourself and call it yours. This is her's, so let's all giver her a break and let her shine as the amazing dancer she is:)
Wow that was amazing! It's dances like these that inspire me to become a dancer. The little tips along the side and instruction was nice too. You're a BEAUTIFUL dancer, and your musicality is great as well. :)
The choreography isn't that bad! I definitely think there needs to be more "breath" moments. I think the way she movess needs to be more controlled on some of the parts. She has so much potential, I don't know how her dancing is now, but she should consider learning more about performance quality. It's not just about technique, she needs to use her face and her body. Once she's got those down, she'll be absolutely amazing!
i have to admit that the control over your body is perfect but why the hell have you chosen a song like this... it's way to emotional and slow to smash it with an performance like this one...
your movements looks like some random twitches to this smoth flowing song...
this is beautiful, first time i have been taken away into a dance beofre , i actually believed and seen the story, obviously some technical and choreography problems , but you are aware of that , i love it.

Hey I have a question to the dancer: How long do you/ does she already dance for performing on this level? Are you/ is she a dance student (at an university) or "just" a hobby dancer?
Thanks already for answering.

ok you are AMAZING and INSPIRING!!! i want to get back into dance because of this....... thanks :)

Loved it. And also you could like, not talk.. Not trying to be rude, but you should play the song in the background (for her to dance to it and keep beat) and then digitally add it. It would increase the audio performance. I hope you find this helpful.
Thanks for that awesomeness,

I love the turtleneck idea. Next time, try using a tripod or something to hold to camera, so it will be less shaky. :)

"Get your bottom up when you crawl." Now that's good advise for all occasions.

i love her dancing and the coreograph and i love the song but it doesnt match because she is danceing faster than the song is..i am not saying i think she is bad or should slow it down maybe just a different song ... :D and you should audition for so you think you can dance!! ill be a fan tee he
jacqueline2alice 5 months ago
@jacqueline2alice I think it doesn't matter. The song was especially slow, and you can't twirl and fall slowly. In my opinion, I thought it was fine. If you actually listened to the words, the song told a story. So did the dance. Read the description and rethink your comment.

@sometimesdumb i think this is one of those times! and its rude to ask me to change my comment buddy, i said what i thought ... and p.s you certainly can do slow spins ! its true that the dance tells a story but it would be BETTER if it matched the tempo of the song!!

bubblegumme made a good point tho dance isnt a sport its a performing art
billslonghorns33 5 months ago
k I dont dance nor will I ever... I play football and idk wtf you guys are saying about danci not being a sport? im gonna be completley honest dancing would be so hard! it takes so much muscle stamina and then they perfect it? I have soooo much respect for dancers they have just as much physical ability if not more as every athlete
billslonghorns33 5 months ago 97
@billslonghorns33 i completly agree =] i do, however, think that dance is more an art...dancers should be regarded as artists with the body of an athlete i suppose =]

bubblybritbrit 5 months ago
that was so good, i'm a dancer too and it is a sport!
Mollyyy131 5 months ago
yeah im getting tiked off with the whole dance isnt a sport my own friend says that;and im like ok lets c u do a triple turn spotting, not bending ur leg;lifting ur heal of the ground, putting ur shoulders down not hunching making sure ur arms are tight and foot is pointed and not sickeld, ooh and do a perfect leep without leading with ur heel, pointing toes turned out not lifting ur shoulders, splitting in the air, with arms right, with legs straight and making it graceful

@autumn21144 As a dancer i TOTALLY agree!!
the most annoying thing is that most of the people who say that, don't dance. It looks easy, but its so much more complicated then it seems. Thats one of the things a dancer does, makes the steps and moves look simple, but i find it funny when they say "oh i could do that" then they try it and they find out that its much harder then it looks.
rabbitheart333 5 months ago
she has a lot of technical things she needs to fix...

i like the idea of the turtleneck (def keep it) but its at sort of an awkward length, and its not proportional to her shorts. i would either get mid-thigh shorts or get a shirt that covers her belly.
the dance is so pretty, good work. :)

MalibuG17 5 months ago
@MalibuG17 "their"
But other than that, agree completely =)

Wow that was amazing! It's dances like these that inspire me to become a dancer. The little tips along the side and instruction was nice too. You're a BEAUTIFUL dancer, and your musicality is great as well. :)

The choreography isn't that bad! I definitely think there needs to be more "breath" moments. I think the way she movess needs to be more controlled on some of the parts. She has so much potential, I don't know how her dancing is now, but she should consider learning more about performance quality. It's not just about technique, she needs to use her face and her body. Once she's got those down, she'll be absolutely amazing!

LOVE THIS SOOO MUCH!!!!! what song is it to?
cudilover1623 5 months ago
@cudilover1623 it`s colorblind by counting crows
i have to admit that the control over your body is perfect but why the hell have you chosen a song like this... it's way to emotional and slow to smash it with an performance like this one...
your movements looks like some random twitches to this smoth flowing song...
