also ryu got shoryu reppa when he went evil, but on EX 3, he got shinkuu shinryulen, which was differant from kens, it was a meteor combo not super. it also did not have flame, but it did 2 hard punches to the gut followed by a 2 hit shoryuken, unless blocked, then it looked like a basic shoryuken exept it was 5 hits.

You'll see the basic form of Ken's ShinRyuKen in games such as Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Capcom vs Snk. It's a vacuum effect where Ken spins his uppercut into the other guy as it sucks the opponent in.

Marvel vs Capcom gave it a huge pillar of light (suppose to be fire)

Snk vs Capcom SVC Chaos gave it twin twists of flames surrounding Ken.

Hadou Shoryuken is just one of those dramatic super moves for the anime climax >.>

yeh, ken has shory reppa which is a combo of shoryuken, but the 1 big 1 is called shinryuken, atleast in the later games. he also has the flame kick, which is like sempu somthing, its an extension of his tatsumaki sempu kyaku (whirlwind kick). but its different from ryus shinkuu whirlwind kick.

I am a big Ken fan. I've been playing as Ken since SFII. But, Ryu would beat Ken if both were fighting seriously. It wouldn't be right if Ken could defeat Ryu. While Ken is out getting laid. Ryu is hard at work, traveling and training.

Not saying Ken isn't tough or anything. But there is no way he could beat Ryu 100%, unless, for some odd reason, Ryu went after his family or something, thus giving Ken an extra boost through emotional rage. But that won't happen.
