I bought this snare....and I love it. Best snare I have owned.....even better than my Garibaldi Signature snare and my Ludwig Black Beauty. Of course, it's personal preference, but I love the crack it has and 13" dia is a great fit for me.

@MuffinSpecial if you want a pop and still maintain the low sound of your snare then you should tune the resonant head as tight as possible. But if you want the REAL pop then you should also tune the upper head tight.
