  • Stuff like this isn't right whoever did this is retarded and can go to hell what if he was there checking it out or something and never use gps it makes mistakes a lot.

  • I would get a new house put up they have insurance

  • This will teach companies to give ADDRESSES alongside GPS co-ordinates next time. I hope this man is forgiving. Hm. Maybe he could have the house they were going to demolish...

  • I think I would locate that GPS and destroy it. It's not worth near as much as a house but was used to make a decision on which house to demolish.

  • fuck

  • When I type in my home address to GPS it takes me 5 houses too far down the street....GPS instead of an actual address is a travesty and a joke

  • Probably a blessing is disguise.

  • @Oldsmob455 I hope so, 1000 times over. Shit like this is so clearly not right - and you know if it where up to the contractor, all he would be getting is an apology. Sad that you can't put a price of things that are sentimental - They should allow this man to take ownership of the contractors house, while his dumb-ass is getting busy constructing a palace.

I hate seeing stuff like this.

  • What to do next? SUE THIER ASS!!!!

  • Actually the home owner should come out very well. The lawsuit will get much more than the house was worth and looking at the rubble, the wood had almost been demolished from termites. Yeah, losing the house he grew up in was sad, but...

    Look for the silver lining.

  • Bulldozer huh? Excavator. Bulldozers doze, excavators excavate, planes fly, dogs bark, and sometimes the media is RETARDED.

  • SUE SUE SUE SUE SUE SUE SUE

  • @RoorsAreGood Who's Sue?

  • Another GPS Fail. Hell GPS takes me to the ocean sometimes and tells me to drive across it!

  • we are getting too reliant to computers, gps, ect. and less on common sense,i wonder if the contractor checked if some one was sleeping in the home before he started to demo. it. what if the man stored dynamite in the house, thats how alot of mistakes happen when we assume.

  • IDIOT!!!! FUCKING MORON!!!!!

  • @fatbradlehs

    Stop spamming...

  • apologies don't pay the mortgage

  • I live in my family's house which was built in 1857.....It been in the family since. 3 story brick victorian( very ornate) with several generations worth of stuff in it......I will inherit it all.......I would Fuc**** kill all of them if this happened and I would sue them so hard it would make their ancestors dissy.LOL

  • he will make 10 times what that abandon house was worth

  • @amcabbott his house was occupied. he was living in it. it wasn't abandoned. but I hope he hired an attorney and sued the living shit out of those incompetent assholes who tore his old home down.

  • What? They didn't just pay up? He had to take them to court first? Geez

  • Next time call the free search directory for the best contractor near you. 877-564-2108

  • @ikestephens Yeah after I get done watching a video like this Im going to call some random guy advertising in the comments on the video.

  • Doesn't anyone check the actual ADDRESS before tearing down things?????

  • an apology? thats a joke, the guy should sue those guys back to the middle ages, yeah you can rebuild the house, but memories and heirlooms are gone, what a shame.

  • awww man, imagine how that guy feels, the house he grew up in......gone, he should sue the company, did they look in the house and see furniture?

  • member when you could watch a video without havin to sit through a commercial?

    WE MISS THE OLD YOUTUBE

post this in every video and lets start a youtube revolution

thumps up to keep@top of page

  • =/ poor man. obviously has a heart not to sue... but thats his memories =/ poor man

  • oh !@#$%^&*(, someones head is going to roll

  • they never noticed the furniture inside ?

  • he deserves a brand new house

  • Woops, where it is.

  • Sheesh, the construction company sent their heartfelt apology, stop dwelling on the past, let bygones be bygones!

  • @botchalism

    *beep beep beep * *crash*

Oops, there goes your house, let bygones be bygones, right?

  • @Knoxerboy101 "An eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind." -Mahatma Gandhi Marinate on that for awhile...

  • @botchalism

    Ghandi's a busta.

And in todays world his methods would get you nowhere. Times have changed.

  • @Knoxerboy101 "If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn your other cheek to him as well." -Jesus Christ These quotes are timeless.

  • @botchalism

Again, modern society these quotes are invalid, and I don't believe in that fraud either, nor am I atheist so don't let that get in your head.

  • @Knoxerboy101 "“He who is devoid of the power to forgive, is devoid of the power to love.” Martin Luther King. But I guess Martin Luther King is SO yesterday, civil rights for minorities...who needs'em right?

  • @botchalism An apology was not enough. They paid a construction company to build him another home on his property.

  • @rayjr62 Well he's lucky that they took pity on him and listened to his petty whining.

  • @botchalism Lucky? Petty whining? What the fuck are you talking about? They are lucky to still be in business after he sued their asses.

  • @rayjr62 Yeah Americans pretty much sue over anything, it's sad really. I've bet you've already contacted your attorneys about this conversation haven't you.

  • @botchalism Get a fucking life, will you?

    God, what a putz.

  • @rayjr62 Hah, look who's talking. Hypocritical much?

  • sue them bitches

  • This is what LAWSUITS are meant for and he deserves every penny. Those idiotic morons just wasted a hundred dollar POS gps system to a priceless house. I expect this man to get a new mantion to replace the irreplaceable and those fuckers responsible fired immediately losing their license along with it. Fuckin idiots!!!!!!!!

  • that sux

  • i would think that with pain and suffering this should be good for a new little house, furniture an extra money to boot

  • Derp de derp.

  • give me a new damn house! lol

  • If I were that guy, I would sue the hell out whomever is responsible. What a disgrace.

  • Lol He gets an Apology for his own house being Demolished?

  • @RuneMasterPimp that apology is also admitting liability.

  • @1020Shane The house in a pile of ruble is admitting liability also lol

  • @TheyDidThis lol true dat

  • @RuneMasterPimp And his attorneys probably used that apology (if it was in written form) as proof that the demolition firm admitted liability.

  • what if somone was in there , this is ridculis cops and people are messing up to much now

  • The GPS led them to that street. They prob tore down the first house they saw.

  • he could sue the gps company :)

  • i bet u it was a dumb mexican contractor who gave him the GPS explanation.

  • GPS coordinates led them to the house?!

Well kids, what did we learn from this? If you're going to demolish a house and using GPS to locate a house, whatever street you land on, just do yourself the favor of knowing them all down!!!

This is some unacceptable BULL!!! I would love to see the actual dumb dummy who told this man this mess!!

  • apology ! ha ha in america i think it's called i'm gonna sue your'e ass!

  • CAN I HEAR A SUE ANYONE??

  • ROFL!!!

  • Typical american.

  • Sue Em? The man shows restraint..you guys miss the point, this home was a big part of his life and memorys, Lawyers cant fix that or put a $ on it! His hart broken, sab and disapointed.. That's how you get when your older and you find money isnt everything, its just a means to an end! If anything you can hope he stops this from ever happening to anyone else ever again! its the human factor in the mix!

  • All they got was an apology?

Forget that sue them for that.

  • this is an outrage! build this man a new home and furnish it!

  • just a little prank no harm done here

  • SUE THE FUCK OUTTTA THEM, GUY!

  • There are sick fucks that make a living off of suing hard-working people for any reason they can find.

  • @FatalError2319 But the attorneys who represented him were not sick fucks, and this is not some frivolous lawsuit, either. This is legit.

  • Ex-Contractor Knocks Down the Wrong House.

  • sue the shit out of them !!!!!

  • I want to know what company demolished his house. I'll hire them and give them the GPS coordinates for the white house. These guys clearly know how to obey orders.

  • build that man a new house for fucks sakes.

  • It was unintentional, but dude should get a settlement. Shouldn't have to go to court on this one, but you never know.

  • thats sucks soo much, poor guy - i hope that TV show where they build ppl new houses shows up and builds him a new one. He deserves it.

  • damb man poor dude

  • Apology! That is ridicoulous! Those contractors should be sued for all damages, they had no right to be there, and did'nt even contact the home owner, what kind of world do we live in, this is a crime

  • i 100% agree

  • hell! they should build him a new house!

  • fukin stupid ass gps...u cant trust gadgets to real manual reaserch

  • I would the TV show "Home makeover" will jump in!

  • The house was an heirloom itself, hand-built by the owner's father brick-by-brick. If I were a lawyer, I'd represent him for no charge. Heck, I would pay HIM to be his representative. This is an epic "oops", so epic, in fact, that a simple apology just ain't gonna cut, let alone even scratch the surface.

PS: I have my fingers crossed that Ty Pennington is en route as we speak.

  • they better build it back

  • GPS MAY FAIL BY 2010 LOOK IT UP ONLINE

our GPS could fail next year, warns GAO. The U.S. government accountability office told Congress the Air Force may not be able to meet the 2010 deadline to stop a GPS disruption.

  • Heart breaking :O(

  • It's nice to hear he got an apology. WTF?!

  • man, he should research the company, find out how much they are worth and sue 50 percent of the net worth the company is worth.

  • I agree. They can't just tear houses down by mistake and no take responsibility for that.

Oh, he's getting more than an apology. They are about to pay him a pretty penny.

  • what can he sue them for

  • He paid money for that house, and no it's in crumples.

He can atleast get them to build another house, I'm sure.

  • So that's the way to do it? I'll remember that if something happens to me.

  • What they won't tell you is the house was full of ghosts who were finally released into a peaceful afterlife.

  • LOL! What the hell kind of GPS were they using? If they used Google then this wouldn't have happened.

  • You can use anything, but if you don't know HOW to use it, then it's useless.

  • Well if they don't pay him an assload of money and give a public apology sue them back to hell.

  • this is going on Fail Blog

  • Haha, an apology. What a joke

  • Wow House Finding FAIL, I hope this guy gets compensation.

  • Just stupid. Use the GPS AND check the address assholes!

  • ID SUE!!!!!!!!

  • GPS let them to that STREET. Why didnt they just tear down every house on the street then?

i bet the description went something like this:

Its a house. It has walls, a roof, paint, and a front door.

  • lol, nice

  • this dude is gonna get paid. better be alot hell if i was him id be maken up stuff that was in the house

  • yeah vthe flat screen was right here next to the gold and silver candle sticks on a mahogany wood table lmao

well at least he'll own a mansion when he's done with them

  • Hell yeah! If I were this dude I would sue em all. I would like a brand new house with sparkling new door knobs.

I wish something like this would happen to me haha.

  • if that happend to me i woulds probaly make them rebuild it =]

  • Oh thats nice, they gave him a petty Apology because they really had no other fucking choice.. I guess that makes everything ok! I wish that shit worked when you get caught for smoking some organic fucking pot in your own back yard!

(not like it should matter where your smoking a natural fucking substance!)

    FUCK!

  • omg, poor guy

  • I'd sue the hell out of that company. And press charges against the owner and foreman / manager.

Also, why not mention the name of the business that did it? Don't you think people deserve to know who did it?

  • This is what lawsuits are for.

  • An apology, are you f'ing kidding me? They owe the guy a house. They need to rebuild it just like it was.

  • What does he mean he isn't sure what to do next? Sue them or do w/e it takes to get them to pay him a crap load of money for a new house and compensation for the irreplaceable heirlooms.

0 doubt he would win that case in court.

  • Oh no, he would definitely win this case. I'm sure he will pursue it, if he has any sense.

  • Hurray for our Census Dept that took the GPS and entered the Lat-Long on that. I guess there system is not as accurate as they thought. The right house was hundred of yards away... rofl. Yet again our government at it's best.

  • He should've stood in front of the house like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride II

He should have called the police before they demolished it.

  • what a dumbass! lol

  • damn thats fucked up and he didnt stop them

  • Try stopping someone from doing something after you find out that its been done.

Unless you have a Delorean, and a flux capacitor...

  • then he should go back to 1955 and prevent his parents from building the house there in the first place

  • They don't say that he found out before they tore it down. Just that he had a conversation with the contractors and his cousin shot video of a bulldozer and dumpsters full of debris so the house was probably already demolished.

  • GPS- ain't technology just wonderful !

  • my condolences......

  • This deserves more than an apology.

  • @kanemetlake8 your right i herd they built him a brand new house.

  • @oiTzTricKyx Good. He deserved it.

  • @kanemetlake8

No shit...an apology?? Uhhh...sorry guy, we tore down your house....uhh..here's a 25 gift certificate to IHOP.

  • idiot....

  • i would kill evrii1

  • wow that sucks.

  • LMAO!

    EPIC FAIL.
