What are the differenfes between PSR 900 and this? I know that PSR 900 and Tyros are very similar, I mean the quality of samples and sounds. But what do we have here? It is better than PSR 700, but good as 900 too?

@SunflowerContest The PSR-3000 is very similar to Tyros 1 and the "old " version of the S900. But the S700 is very similar to the 3000.

@SunflowerContest Well, PSR s900 has audio recording, colour LCD, super articulation voices, more no of styles and voices than 3000, but PSR 3000 is very cost worthy and has quite a good design and is great to look at and many Yamaha deares prefer PSR3000 over PSRs900.

Leider ist Korg bei den Arrangern irgendwo hängen geblieben, meine Favoriten sind Yamahas Tyros Reihe und Ketrons Audya. Korg ist mehr als ernüchternd! Der Pa2xPro ist im Vergleich zum Tyros oder Audya ein Witz.

Megavoice technologie ist recht einfach, man gehe ins tonstudio und nehme alle noten einer gitarre auf, nehme dan ndie noises der strummings auf, die slides etc, verpacke des ganze in einen datenablauf und midirythmus, und shcon ist es fertgi^^

buy a Tyros!!!!!!! I also have choosen between PSR 3000 and Tyros. The 61 keys are much better than on PSR 3000. second reason was for me the design and the big display (the graphic is soo much better, you can see everything very clear).

i think the most functions on both keyboards are the same (mega voices etc) but the keys are so much better =)

i'm very proud of my Tyros and when i openend this video i thought: what a luck that i decided for Tyros!!

The PSR S-900 has got SA Voices like the Tyros2.

Much better than the PSR S-700. But the PSR S-700 is also very good with that Mega Voice Technology.

Dont know but get the S-700 or S-900 these are the predessecors to the PSR series, difference between the 700 and 900 is the 900 has a color screen and usb recording straight to a USB device if ya wanna put on PC

motif blows this out of the water. the xs8 is near perfect. ignore the other comment, motif is to yamaha as oasys is to korg as fantom is to roland as k2600xs is to kurzwiel.

You can´t compare the motif with any psr-keyboard...

There are 2 classes of Keyboards:

1)Entertainerkeyboards: Tyros as best model (followed by the psr s900)

2)Synthesizers: Motif xs8 as best model

It depends, what you want to play. The Psr S900 is a very good Entertainerkeyboard with World-Styles like Swing/Latin/Ballads/Polka. The Motif is more a Synthesizer for playing Dance-Styles like Techno/House/RnB/Hiphop and perhaps also Rock.

Hello,

Sorry, but you can't use MegaVoice in live. Megavoice is only for midifile and styles.

But, you have the "Cool SlideClean" voice. You have just to select it and play, and if you increase the velocity, the voice produce a slide effect :D
