when i move "time line ting" in trackmotion window it doenst move in base time line. How do u fix that?

im working on 2video tracks & 1audio track in Sny Vegs Mov Stud Platnm 9. 1st video track fills fullscreen while 2nd video track is track motioned in stationary "window" in upper right corner 25% of the screen. when i shut off track for 25% window track motion & have only 1video and 1audio track i can render a "MainConcept MPEG-2(*.mpg;*.m2v;*m2t;*mpa)- which renders as m2t. But when i turn the "window"track on and try to render 1video/1videowindow/1audio it keeps on failing to render

@skater171997 it's labeled motion tracking, but i guess they're both motion tracking, but one is tracking motion and the other is putting the objects on "tracks", so to say :D

i have a problem...my window for motion tracking is like stuck to the bottom of the screen, and i cant click or move it. i dont know any commands to pull the box the center either.

@ant2717 kay wut u do is close sony vegas. Then click on it again, but very quickly press "Ctrl shift" right after u clicked it. a box should pop up, ur gonna have to check off the little box that u see and then click yes. this will reset the layout of sony vegas to the defualt. hope this helped :)

Both Track Motion and Event Pan/Crop do basically the same thing. Seems a bit dumb that Sony have both. Why not just combine them into one and simply have a checkbox to decide whether you want to apply the effect to the whole track or just the one event?

hello, i have after effect and it has track motion effect where u could add other object and link it to the track motion so it could sync and move together. So I want to know if sony has that option to link and sync them so they could move together

@petenicezz yes it does (hi btw) there is a little up arrow and down arrow (in vegas pro) click the one that says make child layer (or something like that) and it will follow the track motion of the object above

And question if you will make moving text example you will put the text on your hand? you use track motion not pancrop right?

@skater171997 it differs in the way you understand it, if ure using vegas then motion tracking would be manipulating the motion of the layer, in after effects it would be tracking the motion of the layer to destabilize the jitter and/or to use the details to "parent" it to another to layer which is what you are talking about, sony and adobe aren't bestfriends.. :)

Insert a video track and look above the sliding bar on the left hand side. One of those little icons is the track motion button. I think it's the 3rd one from the left. You'll find it. Just point at all the icons until the name comes up.
