  • Hi everyone

Thanks for the comments and apologies for later replies. This was a work of love and yes it cost a few bucks but I was luck as it was a rust-free body.

That depends, do you already have the car? A running convertible can cost between 10,000 and 12,000 dollars, and that's not even considering the money that you plan on putting into it.

  • Nice job From Detroit Michigan

  • I'm 17 and i really want to restore a 66 mustang. Is it possible for me to do it?

  • @iGatorNation yea im 13 and im about to start on one its posible any age lol

  • @iGatorNation

You can find a running one for $4k. After that it's all cosmetic work and interior work. You can buy a complete interior kit for 500 bucks, and a paint job for less than a thousand. If any metal needs replaced then that will cost a little bit more.

If you want to build one from the ground up, it will cost more and take more work and time, but it will be worth it.

  • Nice Job
