Dont Let Me Down= is the of thee best songs JOHN Lennon ever wrote.. along with PAULS ''Everynight'' Phoebe must be a big BEATLES FAN...see The Beatles doing 'dont let me down 'live on the rooftop in the'' freezing cold january 1969 air of Londontown''..and see how well Lennon 's SINGS and the Beatles play
@sunriseRISE She took the Beatles and fleshed it out and made it nearly perfect! mmm Nina Simone also made the Beatles feel like just a skeleton to me.
to all Phobe Snow fans: I am not sure many people know but Phoebe suffered a devasting stroke in December 2009, she is not recovering fast. Let us pray, hope and support her with our best wishes for a healthy life and recovery. She has a FB page "REAL PHOEBE SNOW" and her manager and friend Sue reads all the messages to her.....It is so unfair that someting like this happened to such a special human being......
there is "A" person who will always remain un-named at this time (20 years) who borrowed this albumn (Hope you never cross my path) and never returned it!
perhaps "Ung Buhai" ( sorry for the spelling ) might ring a bell (Efron)!!
Ray, I would give up all to be with you, but obviously your not ready. This song should of been called "you let me down". Such a beautiful song 4 such a beautiful man that I will love always!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, I was so in love when this came out in '72 or 73'. I was convinced she was singing All my truths! Thank you for posting this song...It brings back sweet, sweet memories.
I love Phoebe. I had all her sounds when they were on cassettes I wore them out then I got her cd's when they came out I wore them out. Now I have Youtube I hope that I don't wear it out.
I to have wanted to hear this version again, glad I did a Phoebe Snow search. I seen you at the Paramount in Seattle in the 70's , you did this song. I was so impressed at what a voice you have and how you made this song your own.

It was 1976
I was 7 years old.
The recording was SECOND CHILDHOOD.
And YES, it was an 8-Track tape.
I remember falling madly in love
with this voice.
3 months later, I was home
with the Chicken Pox.
IT LOOKS LIKE SNOW got me through it, and Phoebe has been gettin me through EVER SINCE.
