  • @wisesatyr72 correct

  • Comment removed

  • @wisesatyr72 You're not planning on playing thrash riffs on this guitar, right?

  • @emmaspd Yes I would, those humbuckers are made for Thrash..

Though they sound real good without distortion..

  • hi dude just wondering if u no what colour your guitar is

  • i cant stand the way the headstock looks

  • I have the '72 Thinline and it sounds great as well. What are you playing in the video?

  • it is improvised

  • i love this. i'm 14 and wondering if it would be a good investment to get this guitar. it seems to me this guitar has the best of both worlds. clarity of tele, warmth of semi acoustic. should i get this or are there any other alternatives?

  • guitar is great, but it is always good to check out some more.

  • @jimjazzz

    its good one..

but, y better go to all the shops and check eeryhtign they have.. do some internet reserch.

when i was 14 i tough the les paul was perfect for me, until i realized that an ibanez that costed 1/3 was much better and more suitable for me.

im in love with teles, but somehow i preffer the sound of the new eastwood airlines. let your ears judge..

  • Very nice! So smoooth...

  • can you get this colour for one of the re-issues

  • Hey cool! Quick question: how would you say the tele thinline compares to an ES-335. I play a 335 but have always wanted something lighter, a little more compact. Sounds really cool. Also are those just plain humbuckers or are they something different?

    Thanks!

  • @velophile they are split-coil fender wide range humbuckers, which have a really high output and sounds a lot clearer than regular humbuckers

  • Beautiful use of a beautiful guitar...I'm a newcomer who is quickly falling in love with thinline teles...well played.

  • Work of art!

I'm transforming one brazilian Telecaster in a thinline, but with singles pickups (Fender Noiseless), and I hope it takes as good as your one...

Greetins from Brazil, and congratulations for your guitars!

    Rodrigo Bittencourt

  • i MUST have that Okko Diablo =)

  • WOW! This really good! What effects are you used.

  • no effect but the Okko Diablo Overdrive

  • ok thanks

  • what are the pickups?

  • the original Pickups Fender Bill Lawrence Humbucker

  • Hi! I have a question about Thinlines in general. What do you think are the tonal differences between Thinlines and solid body Tele's? Obvoiusly, it depends a lot on the wood used, but what seems to be consistent differences besides the tonal characteristics of the wood? Less tight bass? A cut in the mid frequencies? A warmer tone? These are all things that I've heard from a few other people. But then a lot of other's say that there really is no discernible difference.

  • cut in the mid frequencies is what I think too. But this is a nice feature wich gives the thinline an outstanding touch.

  • This video was pretty cool! Thanks for making my day! :)

  • beautiful guitar! brilliant tone! such chilled playing :) well done!

  • Sounds good. I like the Tele Thinlines over regular Telecasters for a more lively sound.

  • I played a Tele Thinline at a Guitar Center last night...wow, man.

  • i'm getting this guitar. or at least building one

  • Building one? I'd like to see that. I'm interested in building guitars myself.

  • Me too. I have a guitar design video on my other account, LemonIcedTeaChannel.

I used the online KISEKAE system to design them.

  • that shit went down smoooooth

  • really nice soloing man. One of the smoothest things i've heard in a while

  • smooth as fuck, nice playing.

I'm actually surprised because I have a '72 thinline reissue, and the pups sound almost dead on the same.

  • uh... this is a 78...

  • That was my point you fool

  • I had been considering buying a telecaster for jazz, and after hearing your lovely playing I'm definately gonna go that way. Very cool sound you get from that guitar!

  • What chords do you use to create the loop? They sound wonderful together! Great feeling...

  • Gm7 C/E and later:

    Am7 D7

  • Yay. Happy spring and summer!

  • Wow, that was the best blues i have heard in a really long time.

    Amazing improvising!

  • That wasn't blues. It was, however, some very nice jazz. I'm not normally fond of jazz guitar, but that was brilliant.

  • Fantastic tone. Very calm and slow.

  • those pickups sounded good..

  • How much does it cost???

  • Guitar has been sold! (2700 Euro)

  • very nice, love how it comes close to breaking up at the end there. Ummmmmm just perfection. I was thinking of getting a thinline, how does it handle distortion and overdrive?

  • Very nicely.

  • what looping equipment do you recommend to do simple layering?

  • A Boss Rc-2

  • sounds like the weather channel music when it shows the "local on the 8s"

  • @notyourhomeboy

    theres nothing wrong with that

  • hi, great sound! congratulation beautiful guitar. come to see my homemade thinline on markline guitars

  • Made in Japan or USA?

  • USA

  • i could listen to your playing all day! You are supplanting all my USA guitar heroes...! (LOL) I used to live in Germany and I am fond of Germans! great tasteful playing as always...
