I have no idea how Rogers won the first round. Only thing he did was the first jab that broke Fedor's nose, the 3 seconds of gnp where he almost got caught in an armbar and held him up against the cage. Fedor did the most damage, knocked Rogers down with a punch, took him down twice and worked him on the ground. Giving Rogers that round is complete BS but much props to him for surviving that long.

After McCarthy said, "Get your fingers out of the fence, I'm not going to tell you again", Rogers kept doing it any way. Otherwise Fedor would've pushed out of it a lot sooner than he did.

Fedor has always been my favorite fighter but I give Brett huge props. Bretts ground game looked great. He was able to reverse fedor, pull guard, avoid submissions and used half guard very effectively. GREAT FIGHT!

It wasnt obvious. Rogers footwork was fine. He threw lots of faints and changed it up several times. Do you think fedor was able to land that shot after one try. He was trying to time that punch several times in the fight. Look at 6:33 when Fedor misses. People dont give Brett enough credit.

Yes, he is obvious, it took only a round for Fedor to figure him out and realize the main hole in his stand up... It seems like every time he closes the distance he either moves back out directly, or goes in to strike. At the KO, you can see Fedor's preemptive thinking and timing as he finally takes advantage of Roger's lowered hands. Fedor was not intimidated at all and knew that he would not expect the overhand right, there are several moments when Fedor could have pulled this punch off
