i dont get why people talk shit about muscle and imports, they both are cars, just because one can beat the other doesnt mean that that one car or type of car is better or faster than the other. its not about the damn car, its about the driver, you can put a shit load of mods and stuff like that, but it only depends on how good the drivers is, so dont hate on the car, talk shit about the driver!

lets just face it like its already been said, most japanese cars can`t stand a chance  unmodded against american muscle, stock for stock nothing beats american muscle in terms of how smoothly and effortlessly the power comes low ended, plus that american engine is gonna last a long time, whereas i still have to find a high performance japanese car with 100k + miles on it without any major rebuilds. big difference !!!

So people are calling a classic 68 or 69 charger a crappy made American car win it just beat that supra then slowed down for the car in front of it. SO how could that charger beat that supra? Stop your whining ricers(and I know what ricers are) you have a import(supra) going up against a classic American muscle car(charger), So think Inline 6 vs a v8(which that charger might have the hemi). So people should know when not to race car's that ruled American drag's back in the late 60's early 70's.

@1800viper thats not what rice means, in terms of motorsporting. ricer cars are cars with big bodykits, big useless spoilers, ugly rims, ugly paintjobs and vinyls that have no power. any car can be riced out. ive seen some mustangs and chryslers in my area that look pretty ricey

@1800viper thank you my 70 440 magnum charger eats any ricer driving a supra it runs a 12.3 on the quarter without slicks and runs stock over 300 horse but w my bell supercharger and custom block it has over 400+ and i now have new headers and exaust coming in.

@mattzahorak Yea there is a cool vid on here of a supra completely stock except for cams, t51R, and bigger injectors. 650rwh and 10.5 - 10.0 flat. Only 5k put into car. HKS 275 intake and 270 exaust - $1,100. Gerret t51R trim running 25psi - $3,450. MeGa'squirt injectors IDK on the price.

The stock block is good for 1,000hp before having to rebuild crank, conecting rods, ect. The block is solid cast iron. Stock twins push 13psi. Another thing... Stock tranny = 850hp before syncro rebuild.

@Brohankutanks actually its just incorrect...... ever watch that video where the charger races the 350z and the 350 just gives up? or the video where the camaro races the supra and the supra gives up? fact is both imports and american muscle cars are good. both can kick some serious ass. both can own the other with a ton of work, but a car that isnt heavily modded, most of the time a muscle car would come out on top.
