yeah this race is total Bullshit. e55's would destroy and i mean make look really bad if they raced a 335 with any chip and simple mods theres no way in fuckin hellll e55's take m5's until around 120 or 130 mph. and i raced a fucking V2 335 with eisenman exhausts and this fool couldnt beat me by more than 8-12 inches everytime and we ran it 6 times and i have a 350 hp c32amg theres no fuckin way in hell its gona magically smoke a 479hp supercharged supercar sorry buddy i dont buy it for a second

As I was co-driving the E55 during that particualr day, and during that particular race I have to disagree. That 335 we raced was just astonoshingly fast, although he pushed the material a bit too hard and went in to limp-mode after almost every race. However I can guarantee you that the E55 went flat out, Matt who was driving would´ve made a hole in the floor if he´d pushed the pedal further to the metal.

So an E55 will run balls fast all day, everyday, stock while a 335i V2 will be quick but will suffer from boost leaks, pulled timing, failed fuel relays, lean conditions, and all the other "funky" things that those ECU flashes of Vishnu's have caused.

I'll take the E55 please. That AMG motor IS amazing. The 335i's motor will be toast soon...

Ive raced CLS55amg and E55 amg, co-workers own both, and I cannot walk either with my 335i V2. They pull every time around 80 - 90 mph going into third gear.

actually the procede chip V2 cost 1500 and an exhaust depending on the type is around 1200-1300 so 2800 in mods for the 380rwhp/+400ftlb. The V1 procede is about 330rwhp/365tq.

The US 335 has 300 acording to BMW. Most think that it really has between 310 and 330 based on dyno results.

The Vishnu tune is a piggy back 'interceptor' module (actually an Australian Halltech) that with no other mods is giving the car somwhere around the high three hundreds and over 400 ft lbs.

I just got the V2 put in my 335i, and the car has very similar low to mid range characteristics as the 1.47 but from 5500rpm plus it goes much harder and has an extra 50hp up top.

the z06 has 500 hp and the kelleners sport is a tuned m6 (stock has 500 hp already) adding another 50 or so hp, so its not that strange at all, seeing that it beat a viper... (I think it was supercharged too)
