I dont think that the set screws and dimples in the shaft will hold up very well in the real world. You should try and find something with a splined shaft I think that would be a sure thing but thats just my 2 cents:)

Dimple in the shaft? Any mechanical slip joint over 1 HP should be keyed. Sorry, but that will fail in no time.

The shaft is keyed for rotational torque! The dimple is to prevent movement along the shaft.
