There is a measure of sense he makes. At the core of our being, we don't 'have' a spirit, we 'ARE' the spirit. Without a spirit to inhabit the matter that is the human body it would not be living. Interesting thing to say that no scientific studies actually dive into the mechanics of peace and why it can/can't work for the human race. I personally feel that considering the universe, humanity won't be missed much.
These guys have never studied international relations before, the persuit of the scientific determinants of peace has been going on for quite some time. Some critical theory would totaly blow their minds. Science can only explain the world as it is, not the world as it should be (e.g. everybody living at peace).
Thinking that peace can be objectively found also forgets the fact that without some kind of democratic process any theory of peace ultimately leads to oppression.
I am so impressed and heartened by LeVar's commitment to and articulate views on using his film skills and energy to advance the cause of Peace. His insights regarding the scientific approach to peace are very useful. Thank you Alice for introducing this new LeVar to the public. We know he has "seen" the future: Having been on the USS Enterprise in StarTrek, a few centuries into the future!
I posted that response a little too soon. I don't quite agree that at the center of matter is "spirit." That statement actually makes little sense from a scientific point of view too.

Consciousness is more fundamental as matter. Science grows closer and closer to discovering this fact every day.
Oneness is true reality. We are as waves rising up for a time yet eternally connected to the ocean of oneness of all that is.
