Something traumatic (although AU) as having his body mutilated, his mind controlled, and his most prominent trait (his sense of humor, his ability to communicate) violated would give Wade even deeper motivation to talk, act, and work his own way once he gets free....assert his free agency. He'll be more fragile, unpredictable, ruthless, rebellious, and mouthy than ever.

Everyone saying that they ruined deadpool needs to shut the fuck up. The reason he looks like this is because he isnt deadpool yet, this is wolverines story not his. Deadpool was experimented on before he got cancer and got his mask, thats why he looks the way he does. Everything will be resolved when Deadpool origins comes out

Every body shut up about deadpool, hes supose to wear a mask any way thats why hes ugly. He didnt need the darraka swords or the lazer eyes, but they just tried a new idea for character, maybe they will find a way to fix it. deadpool is my favorite and this was a little disapointing for me, but i remembered he wears a mask for a reason, now you know why.
