I would like to get some feedback on a song I made the other day, I know this is not the correct place to do this, but youtube deleted all the "groups" and we've been screwed ever since XD . I hope you guys could check out this song and leave your feedback. I'll help me a lot.
"Does god exist?" -"was it evolution?" This discussion might take some time.......
just been reminded of this song by the comic relief programme about 4 celebs living in a slum in africa. This guy said that even though he may only eat 1 meal a day + working his arse off with not much hope- he has to keep smiling for his kids.... (a snip of this track was in the background)
This song is about "human" lives from what I can tell. The pain of breakup, what does God have to do with it? Please don't insert your own agenda into this song, please.
I don't think the song is even about religion. It think it's about passing unfair judgement on your fellow man and having shallow principles.
The message is that life is limited, whether you are religious or not, and devoting yourself to material gain is futile. Hence why the businessman starts falling apart after making judgements on the guy's clothing early on.
cmon guys dont look at the comments and just listen to the song . People who argue about God on Youtube probably are people that arent even worth arguing with.

Fail altempting to prove? Jeez have you ever been in any nature museum? How do you think creatures have been on and out earth (like dinosaures) and new ones (like birds, dogs, us) showed up after?...

i agree with the point that you can belive both god and science, which was one of my points although not very well articulated. i meant that many scientist belive in God and that science does not disprove the idea of God or other way around. my comment was not on evloultion as that can fit with religion but i don't want to go into eveloution as it is a long topic and nothing to do with what i meant to say.

There's absolutely no reason to assume that there was 'a god' who created all this, for me. Believing in science=moving away from delusion and recognizing+using your own IQ. Religion has no place in that, logically.
The only, stimulating 'religion' imo is Hinduism/Buddhism (and nudism :P), because it talks about 'the self' and how to develop. Not about forbidding, the other, about punishing- but about karma and improvement. Respect 4all

@MadSkillzTV Also, there is a lot of evidence to support the bible. Look up Dr. Kent Hovind. He's a scientific evangalist. We've been studying his evidence in my sunday school class. :) It's actually quite eye opening. I think it could be about drawing the line between who's worth the time and who is not. See the guy in the suit was worth the time until it was realised he wasn't wearing shoes....e.g. unacceptable. It also could be bringing up moral issues in society e.g. shunning off those we as a society consider less important just because of social status...food for thought
May i ask what people think this video is about? For some reason i find it absolutely fascinating. "Where do we go, nobody knows" That refers to where people go after they die Also "Where do we draw the line?" Refers to which people go to heaven or hell "I think I'm on my way down" I think that means he thinks hes going to hell

Look this is how you know if babies know about God. Talk to them when they know enough english to reply to you in a correct manner. Ask them if they know who God is. Obviously they won't know. I know plenty of atheists who were once Christian. They had to change. In fact, they'd claim that belief in religion is the result of fear of the unknown. Also, ppl get pissed at all sorts of religions all the time.

As far as your "bypassing-belief" system, agnosticism is a stance about the similarities or differences between belief and knowledge, rather than about any specific claim or belief. Thus making your comment futile, as I had already stated in Layman's that it is an indecisive thought process claiming no belief in god, but plays prosecutor and defense on the same subject.

We've been studying his evidence in my sunday school class. :) It's actually quite eye opening. As a christian it is our duty to protect our faith, and try to spread it to the poor lost souls who haven't found it yet. I think it could be about drawing the line between who's worth the time and who is not. See the guy in the suit was worth the time until it was realised he wasn't wearing shoes....e.g. unacceptable. It also could be bringing up moral issues in society e.g. shunning off those we as a society consider less important just because of social status...food for thought

The man at the beginning is an indication, because he has no shoes on. In england, having no shoes on means being dead more or less. The lyrics also present this idea. "Where do we go, nobody knows" That refers to where people go after they die Also "Where do we draw the line?" Refers to which people go to heaven or hell "I think I'm on my way down" I think that means he thinks hes going to hell

Look this is how you know if babies know about God. Talk to them when they know enough english to reply to you in a correct manner. Ask them if they know who God is. Obviously they won't know. Kids that go to school don't count, because the matter might have been discussed and even explained to them in school. Before class starts, they play this song in the moring sometimes. I've bin wondering, for the looongest time who sang it. However, he left it in because that way people who still follow him and love him truly believe in him and love him, which is what he wants. He doesn't make everything perfect, because then people would just follow him out of habit. He wants us to chose to believe in him, because that's the only way to really live
