@vartatoosh 1- Kork wool is lambswool and is taken from only the softest areas and also only from the first shearing of the lamb.

2- very small boxing gloves? haha - disturb the area, plenty of light, vacuum regularly. If you have an infestation moth traps and wool safe moth spray (moth balls don't work and are dangerous) - having them dry frozen is the best solution but can be difficult.

3- have your rug professionally luster washed

It's too busy: the drapery and the fabric on the chairs should be more like color blocks so the design of the rug comes through more strikingly.
