Hmm. I like the Fallen version better I think. This is a little slow, but still good. And I wish she hadn't changed the lyrics for Fallen though. "If you need to leave the world you live in..." Beautiful. It could've been another verse, there is no need (in my mind) for this song to be shortened at all.

Imaginary is one of my favorite Evanescence songs by the way...if you couldn't tell.

I'm not entirely what "EP" means myself to be honest, but I'm fairly sure that an EP version is just the basis of a song - as you can tell, it sounds rather old and not so modern for an Evanescence song - and the proper Fallen album version is probably just where they edited the song and made it even better.

There are roughly four versions of this song, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know for sure, though..

Actually, EP means Extended Play, wich means it's like a cd, shorter than an LP (Long Play), but longer than a single. Here, I guess you're right, and the EP was like the demo for the song! BTW... this song is awesome!!

@jasperhalecullen This is the original version of Imaginary (at least, the one that's been released) the 2nd version is on their Origin album, then the third is on Fallen, and the fourth is on their Mystary EP. And an EP is like a short album, they usually only have 6 or 7 songs.

@jasperhalecullen The reason theres usually more then one version of a song is a lot of times musicians will record the songs several times before they find the right mix of vocals, lyrics, and instruments. Theres usually several versions of every song by every band. however, most other versions don't get released.
